I think its a very functional watch. The face I think is overly large. If it had larger digital face, then I would agree with its size, but it seems overly large for no reason. A ten year battery and it lights up nicely when you push the button. HOWEVER, the reverse digital look, black background and gray numbers doesnt work so well. Its not easily visible like black numbers and gray background. For its price point its a good watch, I just didnt want to struggle seeing the time. Thats just me.

I bought this watch along with an Invicta watch. I couldn't decide with type of watch I wanted and with this watch being as inexpensive as it is just bought both. I was originally going to buy the Casio Men's AE1000W-1B but Amazon was having selling issues when it came time to checkout with that watch. So I looked and found this one. I'm glad I did. Now, of course the Invicta is better made and of higher quality but that doesn't mean this isn't a good watch. I really like so I'll keep it for my weekend watch. It's nice and big, almost as big as the Invicta, which is a diver watch, so it's pretty big but very light and comfortable. It's very easy to read and has a light, not as bright as Timex's "Indiglo" but it's cooler -- it lights up the numbers as opposed to whole face. It's probably not as nice or as durable as a Casio G-Shock this is meant to replicate but for under $25 and I bet it tells time just as good. My only real gripe is that the band isn't very well made. I'm sure if you don't abuse it it'll last as long as the watch but one good catch on a door or belt and this band will most likely rip. If you're giving this to a kid or you're very active I'd say absolutely buy the watch but just be advised you'll probably need a new band before you need to change the battery. Overall it's a pretty good cheap watch. Not made of the best materials but if you're looking for a sub $25 watch that has a light, date. alarm and chronograph I can't see how you be disappointed in this watch.

Held up very well during use in military training. Screen scratched a little (after extreme conditions) but still readable. Very sturdy and well made. Buttons are easy to use. Seems like it will hold up for a long time.

Nice watch and works good

Watch is basically rubber and acrylic. Band has held up well for 2 years. Styling isn't bad. Glow function (3sec) is perfect. The watch runs fast out of the box (mine did). My guess is something like 1/2 second every 24 hrs. That isnt too terrible. Alarm isnt useless but even if you're awake you have to be listening for it. You can bump the button for 12/24hr. This happens often when working or driving. But pros outweigh cons. It's a decent, functional watch. The problem is cost. Yes it's 'cheap' but there are cheaper digitals as well as smart watches out there with various styles, functions and better quality.

I love this watch! I've had it for over six months now, and it's holding up pretty well and functioning perfectly. I love the look of it, especially the little pops of color. Nothing too flashy, but not boring either. It is a larger watch, but some reviewers make it sound like you'll be walking around with a wall clock on your wrist! That's ridiculous. It's not that much bigger than other sport watches I've owned, and it is really practical in its ease of reading quickly while active or at night. The poly (I guess that's how you would decribe the material) "crystal" does scratch fairly easily if you use it for hard use activities like I often do (working in the yard, working out, etc.). I try to keep in mind that I bought it for that purpose and that it only cost around $20, so it's not that big of a deal. But, it definitely looks more expensive that it actually is, and I enjoy wearing it out and about to nicer places too. I've heard some people mention that the buttons get pushed too easily, changing modes without then meaning to. I've only had that happen on a few occasions when I bumped the buttons into something. I've never had them get pushed just from bending my wrist. The upside of having buttons that are a little larger and more accessible makes this watch really handy for timing things quickly and easily. I find myself using it for this on a regular basis. The water resistance seems to be pretty good too. I've worn it in the pool and in the shower, and I've never had a problem. Probably wouldn't recommend diving with it or wearing it in a hot tub, but for most daily use, you should be fine. This won't apply to everyone, but do note that if the colored parts come in contact with bug repellent, it will crinkle and soften. I took it off for applying the bug repellent, but then I strapped it back onto my wrist and wore it for several hours. When I took it off, wherever my skin (with the chemical on it) had contacted the colored parts on the backside of the watch, the paint was basically ruined. Thankfully, it was only on the backside, so you can't see it when I'm wearing it. I've had plastics get damaged in the past in the same way, so it's definitely not just for this watch. But, it is something worth keeping in mind. Over all, it's a great watch for the money, and I wouldn't have felt cheated even if I had paid an extra $10 for it. Great looking watch for a great price. It's hard to ask for much more.
