Anne Klein Women's Cotton Legging

I love this. I ordered a small but I thought it wouldn't fit because small is sometimes too big for me, but the material is amazing. My mom wants me to order some for her. It's not see through so you don't have to wear a shirt over it. It is snug and stretchy. This is probably what I'll wear to school.

Folks are right that the sizing of these leggings is totally off. I am 5'3" and weigh 115 lbs. and normally wear an XS or size 2. The S/M fit me perfectly (frankly, a little on the short side). It says that S/M fits 5'2"-5'6" and 115-140 lbs, but I have no idea how someone who's 5'3" and 130 lbs (as I was after pregnancy) would fit in these, or frankly anyone who's 5'6" tall -- they would be about 3 inches too short. Here's the (incorrect) sizing chart; unless you're right on the bottom of the chart range, you should order one size up: S/M: 5'2"-5'6" 115-140 lbs M/L: 5'6"-6'0" 145-165 lbs XL: 5'5"-6'0" 160-190 lbs XXL: 5'5"-6'0" 190-230 lbs The leggings themselves look to be pretty good quality, a little spandex-y for my liking (I prefer really cotton-y ones), but definitely thick and not see-through. The waist band is also about 2 inches thick, which is thicker than I prefer.

Although I have the opposite problem than most people report here, one thing is clear: these leggings do not fit well. I am 5'8", 112 lbs and usually wear a size zero. Based on what others have reported, I ordered the S/M, since I knew that the M/L waist would be way too big on me. Well, the waist, hips, and thighs on the S/M are a tad too big, while the length is more capri on me. In a nut shell, do not order these leggings if you are tall and thin. Perhaps there is gross inconsistency in the manufacturing? Either way, consider another brand of leggings before you order these.

First, I second all the reviews that encourage people to size up. I've never bought anything in M/L in the U.S. (I'm a European size Medium, which usually means US Small), but for these it was just right. When I got them, I was pleasantly surprised by the wide and comfortable elastic at the waist (not too tight, not to narrow...). Unfortunately, I find that after a few hours of wear, the elastic wants to fold in half, so that it becomes narrow and a bit unflattering -- makes it seem like you have more fat at the waist than you really do. I don't have a huge belly or anything, it just wants to fold whenever you bend over to pick something up, or if you sit with your knees pulled up... if you've ever had it happen, you'll know what I mean. I appreciate the fabric, and I find them to be perfectly non-see-through. While I am not a fan of walking around outside with only tights on (I usually wear a skirt on top), if I *had* to do it, these leggings would make me feel less naked. In summary, I still wear them and find them comfortable. I would just like them tons more if the elastic didn't misbehave.

I had bought a pair of Anne Klein leggings a few years ago at DSW and i LOVED them. They were comfortable with quality fabric. It was only when i got caught on something and got a small rip in the butt that i retired them. However, THIS PAIR that i just ordered was a different type of fabric and fit too small. I'm a size 4 with short skinny legs- so i normally fall under s/m on the size spectrum. But these were little and just poor in quality that i think i blew out the elastic putting them on. The stitch is also crooked around the waste band.

Very nicely made and true to size. These leggings will look great with a long tunic or coat and boot or flats. In Seattle we don't get much of a summer so these leggings will come in handy as a wardrobe stable for 3 seasons of the year. Love them and the comfort is great.

This is a great pair of legging. I admired the fabric the moment I saw it. Very good quality fabric. The fitting is comfortable on the legs. The only thing I had hoped for that did not satisfy me is the crotch size. The crotch is a little on the small so the legging rolls down when sitting. It is possible that it happened because my stomach is large. I have bought another legging and I am not facing this problem (Kiwi Co). So that is why I have given it only 4 stars.

Fit - I normally wear a size 8 - 10 in pants to accommodate my relatively large thighs and the med/large fit very well. Fabric - perfect, actually. These leggings are sturdy enough to be worn in colder months and are not see-through or flimsy feeling. I feel comfortable wearing them "as is" to the gym or with a long shirt if running a quick errand down the street. Durability - they wash really nice, but I hang all of my clothes to dry so I can't speak much to durability in the dryer. Overall - love.
