Is this made in the usa? will not purchase anything from china

I searched everywhere and could not find any info on where the Kuluner Thermometer is mfg. Most products proudly advertised Made in the USA, so I believe this Thermometer is not. Mine worked for two grilling’s and then it started not turning on when I opened it up. I sent mine back.

No, it does not make any noise. But, temperature shows immediately.

Can thus be used for making candies...like 250+ degrees?

Description says it registers up to 500F. Can’t think of any candy that cooks higher than that. Just be aware that there’s nothing to clip the thermometer onto the edge of the pot.

Isn't poultry supposed to be cooked at 165ﾟ not 185ﾟ

Yes the correct temp. Is 165 degrees. I thinks some of the cooking temperatures have changed. I don't pay attention to those listed on thermometers any more. If I have a question I check Google.
