best accessory ive ever purchased for a video game device or console. actually probably the best money ive ever invested in my video game endeavors. no installation, no set up, no complications finding your memory, games play great from the drive, games load quickly, and is so stupid easy to find and maneuver. just format the drive when you first plug it into the console, which takes all of 2 minutes and your set. theres even option on how to download to either your console or the ext. drive. Seagate designed this FOR the xbox perfectly and flawlessly done for an xbox console. im astonished something involving video games has actual craftsmanship and thought out usage methods. worth every penny. Undervalued and would have no prob paying $200.00 for the sheer effectiveness and ease. only thing to note is, the usb should be plugged into the SS drive in the back of your xbox one console, which is stated in the instructions which you wont need.

I am soley using this hard drive for external storage for gaming. It was extremely easy to install. With this being listed as a 2TB storage device, it has a usable 1.9TB disk space available. Having used Seagate external hard drives in the past I knew I was receivinga quality product. To install, simply unbox the Seagate drive, plug it into the USB port on the back side of your console. Power on the gaming console and follow the onscreen formatting promt. It was setup in a matter of 2 minutes and I did it all myself without the need of a tech savvy teenager. I found this unit equally priced through other online retailers, but being a prime member it was a no brainer to get it next day shipping for free. Overall extremely satisfied with my purchase.

No problems here, just plug it in and Xbox does the rest. However, Xbox initially formats the drive for you, so I think I probably could have bought a cheaper brand and it would have been just as easy (selling point for me was, "comes formatted for Xbox"). Anyways I've downloaded a couple games and they work just fine. Some advice; get yourself an ethernet cable, because wifi will take you ALLLL DAAAYYY to download a game. I used a Cat 5 cable with max 100Mbps and it worked at full capacity, but I'd recommend a Cat 6 cable for even faster downloads (max 10Gbps). Bigger games can take an hour or so with the 5.

I bought this for my husbands xbox 1. His data was down to 20% for memory. This was large enough to transfer all his games and maps pack over and still has a TON of space left. It was easy to in stall and easy to format to xbox1 even though it’s an Xbox product. A little bit of space was lost in formatting but not enough to make a difference when choosing this device over others. The device plugs in and stays plugged in so you can play. The unit makes no sound where other brands I compared with complained about a modem/running sound all the time. It did increase the preference of his xbox1 (his was the first edition that only came with 500 memory) where mine came with 1 T. I would buy again.

The drive works as advertised, when plugged into my sons XBOX One we did have to go through a formatting of the drive procedure as explained in the instructions, that did not take long. Once the drive was formatted to work with the XBOX One it was seamless. There was no delay in data access, it did not slow down gameplay at all and added massive storage. The only hiccup was buyers remorse in that I wish we had bought the 4TB model. The design is nice and low form factor, sits right on top of the XBOX. The hard drive works as expected and does that job. It was definitely a good buy! Nice and easy set up.

Got this on jun 7th 2020 it is currently sep 16th 2020 so that's only 5 months of owning this before it randomly stopped working in the middle of me playing a game I might add. No damage to the unit at all no damage to the cord no damage to my Xbox. Plz do not buy this item because costumer support is a joke and when you type in the serial number to the seagate servers it will tell you that it is unknown, that leads me to believe that not only is this product bad but it is also a bootleg product (meaning it's fake) so I recommend getting a drive from an actual store.

El producto me llego en tiempo y forma como lo pedi al dia siguiente (prime). En perfectas condiciones la caja, y el disco duro completamente nuevo. Recomiendo altamente comprar este disco duro si lo que buscas es mas espacio para tu Xbox One y poder tener mas juegos instalados en tu consola, es demasiado sencillo de instalar, unicamente tienes que conectarlo a cualquier entrada de USB de tu Xbox y de inmediato te aparecere un mensaje de como deseas usarlo, si es para juegos te da esa opcion y en menos de un minuto ya tienes listo el espacio para tus descargas. El color verde es muy ideal para combinarlo con la consola en color negro ya que parece un videojuego a lado. Cualquiera que dude en si comprar o no, mi recomendacion nuevamente seria si hacerlo y que mejor que cuando este en descuento. Saludos!

Puedes pasar de todo a este disco duro para dejar espacio en el disco interno de la Xbox excepto la música que hayas extraído de un CD de música al disco duro interno de la consola. Videos descargados, juegos, configuración de usuarios, etc. Tengo un disco interno de 320Gb y ya no cabía nada más. Este disco de Seagate ha sido la solución. Lo he conectado a un usb trasero de la Xbox y cuando apagas la consola también se apaga el disco así que no gasta electricidad ni se desgastan las partes móviles. Hay que formatearlo con la consola antes de usarlo. Primero que todo lo conectas a la XBOX y lo formateas. Te pedirá que lo hagas la primera vez que conectes el disco duro externo nuevo a la consola. Te quedará un disco vacío. Ahora puedes pasar cosas que tengas en el disco interno de la XBOX a este disco para hacer espacio en el disco interno. Para copiar carpetas con canciones en formato mp3, videos y fotos tienes que apagar la XBOX y esperar unos segundos hasta que se apague la luz del disco externo de Seagate. Ahora puedes desconectarlo de la XBOX y conectarlo a un PC con Windows, en mi caso Windows 7, que instalará automáticamente los drivers necesarios. Ahora puedes crear las carpetas con el contenido que quieras. Luego tienes que expulsar el disco (Quitar Hardware de forma segura) y conectarlo nuevamente a la XBOX con esta apagada. Enciendes la XBOX y utilizando las aplicaciones para reproducir videos, música o visualizar fotos de la XBOX, según sea el caso, podrás ver o escuchar el contenido antes copiado. Esto lo he probado en una XBOX 360 slim que es la que tengo y funciona perfectamente. Incluso puedes avanzar o retroceder en los vídeos sin problemas. Lo que no puedes copiar al disco externo son los discos de música extraídos al disco duro interno de la consola.

Richtig gute Festplatte. Kabel war beim Produkt dabei. Lässt sich gut installieren bzw formatieren. Es passen viele Spiele drauf. Funktioniert nicht nur bei Xbox. Bei Installation oder beim Spielen ist die Festplatte sehr leise, man hört sie nur wenn man sein Ohr drauf legt. Dadurch dass sie recht Klein ist, ist sie auch Platzsparend. Verschieben von Interen Speicher zur Festplatte geht sehr schnell und Daten bleiben bestehen. Für den Preis super.

接続がめちゃくちゃ簡単で、xboxone、xbox360のUSBにさして、初期化すればすぐに使えました。 こんな小さいサイズで2TBな上、値段も容量に対して安い。 特に360に使用したら、今まで無料で貰えたゲームも容量の関係で消したりしてたけど、2TBと有ったら余裕でダウンロードし直せました。 このHDDのデザインもカッコよく、xboxの刻印もしっかりしてあって、xboxユーザーなら買って損のない商品じゃないかと思います。 まだ使って数日なので、耐久性は分かりませんが、メーカーもHDD業界では有名なメーカーらしいので、らしいと書いたのは僕があまりHDDのメーカーに詳しくないので、ネットで調べた上で話していますのでご了承を。 話が逸れましたが、有名なメーカーらしいので、平均的な耐久性は持っているのではないかと思います。
