PDP Nintendo DS Lite Travel Power Pack

I am very happy with this charging cord. I had lost our original cord for my Nintendo DS lite about a year ago and haven't really needed on until this summer on vacation. We looked at local stores and found High priced ones but this one was a nice price and it is a USB and that is awesome. What I found was that the connector for the Nintendo DS fits just fine. I read a lady had hers get stuck so I was cautious putting it in the game system but it isn't even a tight fit, it was normal, just as the original. I have to believe she was putting it in the hole meant for the headphones and not the charging port. I didn't have a need to use the attachment for the Gameboy but my husband said it is the right one and if someone really needed to know they can ask, we have a Gameboy I can try it on but we have an original charging cord for that. I haven't used the charger much, but I agree with one of the reviewers that there is this extra bonus flashlight that is amazingly bright. It's literally a big flashlight in one little keychain. But aside from that, I have the regular DS (the big one) and it works fine with the big one. I haven't encountered any problems with it and I think it's a pretty good deal considering that it's a multi-pack and allows you to charge it both in a CAR and by USB. I've charged it in a car and it works fine. The cable is not too short so you can play while you're charging it in the car or on a laptop. But then again, I don't use this one regularly as a main charger (I use the wall plug one for that). I give it a four b/c it's a car charger & a usb charger & b/c of the bright flashlight keychain.

This is not a game, hence, questions 1 and 2 are ridiculous. It is unfortunate that Nintendo uses different connections for the DS, Gameboy and DS Lite--we found out the hard way. Our first power pack was for the DS, which didn't work with our DS Lite. This power pack solves that problem and I would therefore recommend it.

I bought this adaptor because my kids and I have both the Nintendo DS and DS Lite. It works great on the original DS, but the thing that's supposed to fit into the DS Lite is too wide. If you're looking for an adaptor for just the regular DS, this one works great. If for the DS Lite, don't waste your money.

I purchased this for my daugter's DS after one too many long distant car rides when the DS went dead. It was wonderful for her, and me. It comes with everything she needs to keep playing on the road, and keep the chaos in the car down to a minuim. And, with five kids, this is a real blessing!! The additional UBS cord allows her to plug in anywhere, and the 6ft car charger has ample cord to reach from the 2nd or third row seat. A smart 'after thought' and a wonderful mother's helper. I don't depend on the DS for around town driving, but when we are traveling three hours or more, this travel kit is a must have for the portable game families. It is compatable with her older Game Boy, as well. Can't go wrong with this one.
