Always worried about what you get when researching CCTV systems to buy. A myriad of systems all claiming to be the best! I did a lot of research including looking at previous customer reviews and decided to opt for this system. I am really impressed with the product. The items come well packed in a very neat box. The quality of every item is very good and not flimsy in any way. The setting up was extremely easy. The NVR monitor hold the storage drive and all software so do not expect it to be a separate unit. The quality of the camera views is excellent and setting up was very easy. The biggest apprehension in choosing the system are the wifi claims that systems make. This system is not one of those making false claims - the cameras were found very quickly by the system, the range was excellent and the ability for the cameras themselves to act as boosters means getting signals round a house is not a problem. The signal seemed to bend round corners with no problem!! The use of iPhone to connect up is excellent nd the software extremely easy to set up and use. Playback on both the IPhone and on a PC is very easy and the quality is very good. One or two things to watch. Two mentions that I think would improve the system a) The cameras switch to UV mode automatically and you cannot override this, however UV quality is very good b) When viewing the output you have to manually change the quality from SD to HD, I would have liked it to be the other way round. Lastly the support service is excellent with WhatsApp being available to talk to a very helpful lady in China so you are never far from advice and problem solving if a glitch occurs. This product arrived on time and in good condition and was well packaged...I found it really easy to set up using the instructions provided and had all 4 cameras set up over a weekend no problem. Once up and running its just a case of tweaking the settings to suit your preferences in terms of alarms being generated etc but again this is very straight forward. Picture quality is good when you consider the price versus having a professionally installed system and i would recommend to purchase this for your security needs and have attached one of the camera images of the garden for reference. Have a large town house property but even though the cameras are a fair distance from the main monitor i haven't had any connectivity issues so it all has worked wirelessly on the standard aerials provided. My only negative is that the user guide text font is very small so for someone who wears glasses it was a challenge initially to read it.

I bought this item in 3 November 2023, it was working ok until last month, the display was showing no HDD.. it didnt recognize the hard disk which was already in, ( i havent change the HD at all) then now nothing comes on screen at all, Tonton Team is there any way you can help with this issue please, i have asked how do i repair the hard disk not recognising in email and whatsapp, but till now no response

You shouldn't ever choose a book for its cover but upon receiving the product I was particularly impressed with the quality of the packaging; it immediately reassured me and it was a pleasure to unpack it. A good start following 1 day delivery. Split in to simple components with cables neatly packed too, the unit is an intuitive plug and play. I was pleased to discover the software and hardware was already pre-loaded and you can ignore instructions proposing a hard-drive format is required; everything is ready to go. The monitor / hard drive unit is metal and has a high quality feel to it - it is light weight and has an accompanying stand. As noted, the software is configured for plug and play so providing your cameras are within range you won't have any problems. I'm reluctant to comment on range as I've not completed my installations - we have a long property so I'm not expecting the range to be quite sufficient for all areas but nevertheless, so far so good. Where there is a good signal the image quality is exceptional. I've had 720 cameras in the past and reading number plates etc was impossible, so this upgrade is idea. If range is a concern the unit is supplied with two aerials, one shorty and another on a 1.5 m cable, so it's possible to hoist it up a little for better coverage. There is good software functionality with flexible recording and various movements detection etc. You can screen grab and record at click and the HD seems to be fast too; yet to be fully tested. There are USB and HDMI sockets so you can link to your TV or another monitor very easily - another very nice feature. The field of view is good from the cameras and the night vision is excellent to circa 30ft in my opinion. The cameras have sound capture only but this is very handy on occasion - although a two-way camera in the package would be an attractive option. There is slight feedback on the sound when there is nothing happening but I choose to click when I want to hear only - and it's excellent. I could hear the chatter in my yard very clearly. All round these units are easy to set up and install and I'm very impressed. I recommend some shrink wrap for your cable connections, especially if they are outside. I have bought extensions for all my power cables, to reduce strain on the supplied leads - it's my opinion that for outside installations you don't want to put your power supply cable or plug in the elements but instead add an extension that can be replaced if necessary in the future. However, with the shrink wrap protecting any connections, this shouldn't be an issue. All round, this is an excellent product - I'm really impressed. I will finish my installation this week and hope the product has a good life. Finally, TonTon Security customer service is outstanding - ask for Milly!!! Really easy to install and the picture provided is excellent sadly let down by the quality of the software which is not easy to configure. Also the motion detection creates too many false positives rendering it completely useless. Update after 2 years of usage. TonTon website is totally useless with very few firmware or system updates. Constant camera disconnections even with a TonTon repeater, it won’t pick up ONVIF cameras. The software alerts and motion detection has so many false positives that you are inundated with alerts there seems to be no event correlation and reducing sensitivity or area just doesn’t work which defeats the purpose of alerts. Even with the few updates applied the problem still persists. Beware of the positive reviews as these are either coerced or free kit given to change bad reviews. Camera hardware is great but the software is really poor with very few updates. Support is via WhatsApp in China so there is a time delay but the support team do try and help but they seem to be call handlers working on a cellphone rather than technicians.

I don't normally write reviews, but CCTV is a bit of an investment. I do buy a lot of stuff from Amazon, but rarely leave reviews for items myself - though I dearly appreciate those who do!!! I had obtained several (mostly very expensive) quotes for the supply and installation of a CCTV system from some local firms, so thought I would look at alternatives; as they all wanted to sell me wired systems, and some without remote access. I really didn't really want loads of holes and cables running all through my house, so I did a lot of searching and came across this wireless CCTV system. I looked at a number of alternatives (both on Amazon and elsewhere), and read lots of reviews on wireless systems, their pro's and cons, cost, image quality, camera resolutions etc. I have to say, I'm very impressed with this system, and really glad I opted for this, there are lots of positives: Great product Everything really feels solid and sturdy, the NVR is metal cased, the cameras are in a solid metal housing, and they have a good range too. The PIR (motion detection) facility is really useful as it helps reduce alerts and also helps increase the storage capacity for what is recorded, compared to continuously recording, and the night vision is really clear too. Easy setup Talk about simple, from starting, I had the cameras where I wanted them (make sure to test the signals before you drill any holes!) and the system setup, linked to my router, app downloaded and receiving images and all working; in less than 3 hours (including two tea breaks!) Quality images The 2 megapixel HD (1080p) camera gives great image quality. The NVR display is also good, you get a very clear image and whilst there is the option to connect it to a HD TV or monitor, if you want to, I think it's clear enough. The night vision is really clear too. Sound from the built in microphones is crisp. Connection via the app is fluid and I've not had any issues accessing the images remotely so far. Brilliant support Several others who have written reviews for this product have mentioned it already, but the support really is brilliant. Milly has been fantastic, even whilst she has been busy at a 3 day trade show, she has always responded promptly, is always polite and has demonstrated that she really knows the product. Really impressed with this, its definitely worth 5 stars, I would 100% recommend this system.

This system has some good points and some bad. The quality of the pictures is excellent but the range of the camera sensors is very limited as is the range of the wi fi. I had to employ an electrician to hard wire the cameras but, in fairness, the system has lasted quite a few years before failing. Overall not bad for a cheap system & customer service has been excellent

I bought this NVR system a month ago. First, I first searched for a system with PIR sensor on Amazon. Because I had bought other cheap systems before, I was sent false 1000+ motion emails for a day, which caused a lot of trouble with my life, so I chose to try a device with PIR sensor. It turned out that the result was very satisfying, and the PIR function reduced the false detection by 95%, which surprised me. With PIR sensor, 1TB hard disk was complete enough to save a lot of storage space, don't need for 2TB or larger memory at all. In addition, my old NVR system often has no reason to restart itself, and with the noise of the noisy fan, I was headache for the issue, now I have thrown my old system, I strongly recommended this wireless system for all of you, super easy to use, and the price is very worthwhile. The picture is really 1080P high definition, , I do not at home at day, through the APP I can see and hear what happened in my home, I saw a thief sneak into my yard and steal my parcel, I have submitted the screen to the police, I believe the police soon catch him. Thanks to Tonton seller, I asked them a lot of questions about the product before I bought them, and they gave me a quick reply, which was one of the reasons for trust in the company.
