8Bitdo N30 2.4Ghz Wireless Mouse for Windows and Mac PC DVD

I read bad reviews on this but I like it. It's comfortable enough. Has an invisible, touch sensitive wheel between the buttons. Those buttons feel a bit weird at first because they're raised, don't feel quite as effortless but I quickly got used to it. Definitely not a gaming mouse but it won't slow you up if you're doing regular computer stuff. The real appeal is the look of the thing.

I've given this four stars, but it's not usable for me. The buttons are too far away so you are always stretching, but it does look amazing - and to be frank I didn't think it'd be a mouse that was usable daily. If you have a really big hand I'm sure it'll be fine. Or if you don't mind and will likely just keep it as a collectors item like me, then again, go ahead. If you have a normal sized hand and want to use it daily, this isn't for you.

Had 2 and neither worked properly. Wanted to love it as I do most 8bitdo products but no can do.

The unique design of this mouse, which I still like, is the only thing pulling its rating from me up at all. The first thing I noticed pulling this mouse out of the packaging is that it is extremely light, and of course this doesn’t affect functionality but it does make a difference to how how it feels in terms of build quality. The buttons work and feel just fine, however it would be worth pushing the d-pad a little further towards the front of the mouse so that it could be used without having to completely reposition your hand. The scroll-touch-pad thing is surprisingly easy to get used to, however there is no middle mouse click, meaning you still have to keep a hand on the ctrl key to open links in new tabs and so on when casually browsing the internet. At some point I will have to see if I can set one of the buttons on the d-pad to act as a middle mouse button, but it is not something I have looked into yet. The final issue I have to bring up in my review of this mouse is that the light for the sensor at the bottom of the mouse shines through the shell of the mouse all around (See photo.), I would have thought insulating this light wouldn’t be so hard and this is another thing that makes the build quality questionable. Before buying I had head some really great things about 8BitDo from various people which is why I am pretty disappointed that this unique and interesting design has been wasted on a mouse that feels more like a throw away gimmick than something made to actually be used, and isn't great for much other than for "back up" or travel use. I would have happily paid a little more for a mouse with solid build quality, a higher DPI and other such features to really make this product special; unfortunately this effort doesn’t make the grade.

The mouse looks amazing together with the keyboard, but the size of it is not helping with the day by day usage, also the third "button" is super messy (it is a touch functionality that is not so accurate as a real one). As I said, it looks good, but at that price is not giving me the functionality that I was expecting...

This is a very strange item to reccomend. I feel like saying get this if you like the look of it, but don't get it to actually use it LOL. 8Bitdo is a brilliant company for their Nintendo Esque designs for controllers and stuff. They usually have cool software which allows you to interact with the controller, however this does not seem to be the case with this mouse. The buttons at the front are quite hard to reach - but they feel decent to click. There is no middle mouse button, but there is a touch sensitive scroll wheel in between the buttons. the arrows on the side function for back and fouth and page up and page down. If you can get some mouse software to customise those side buttons, it may be a little more useful. There is only one DPI setting, to change it you will have to use software. It's not rechargeable, it takes one aa BATTERY. However the design is a 11/10 for me !! I think I'll keep it just for the design LOL

If you love retro styling like I do and grew up with Nintendo, then this mouse looks absolutely superb. It's also very functional, but really more suited to casual/less frequent users. If you spend all day using a mouse or you want a mouse for PC gaming, then this mouse will fail the ergonomic test badly, hence why I'm dropping a star. I love this mouse because it controls a desktop PC that I only use to start a movie, watch Youtube or maybe look up something on the web while I'm working on my other desktop PC. There was an adjustment period getting use to using buttons for the left and right mouse click instead of having a whole left and right clickable area. But I absolutely love the look of this mouse, especially when it's next to my 8BitDo Retro 108 NES-themed Mechanical Keyboard. If you're a heavy user of the mouse and want a mouse with NES theming, I'd probably consider shelling out for the 8BitDo Retro R8 Mouse N Edition. The price differential is painful, but I think you'll probably be better off in the long run. That mouse seems much more ergonomic and functional for heavy users. But for casual users, this mouse is definitely 5-Star if you like retro NES theming.

Tenho vários produtos da 8bitdo. Esse mouse é apenas retrô, com modelo inspirado no nintendinho, pois não é confortável nem funcional. Quem comprar deve estar ciente disso.

Is limited to 1000dpi, but is very nice great for old schoolers 🤪

This mouse has mixed reviews so I didn't pick it up for a long time, but finally I caved because I didn't want it to disappear because I'd feel like I missed out. Right out of the box, you can tell it's well made, especially for the price. And it looks killer next to the NES themed keyboard - which is really why I bought it. Is it an amazing $200 gaming mouse? No. Is it better than a lot of mice in it's price range? Absolutely. Does it look boss? You better believe it.
