Keep your workspace Tidy
Despite my love for vinyl figures, I have grown to loath dust. As I display the unboxed figures on my desk, it seems that dust seeks out the places that are difficult to reach. I tire of having to pick them up, replace them, only to play a game of dominoes. I thus looked for an option to remove the dust without having to move the figures. Canned air seemed overly costly and rough on the environment. So, I wanted a rechargeable duster to keep my work area tidier and less dusty. Enter the Afmat Portable Air duster. I loved the USB-C charger, the detachable plastic air tube, the battery size/duration, and the strength of the fan. I was able to move the dust off the vinyl figures and then vacuum up the dust/catch it on a wet washcloth. I found I could use the device for a solid thirty minutes or in pulses for several weeks. I charged the device once weekly and over the last month, have enjoyed continued use of the device. The airflow is stronger than you would imagine, but not air compressor strength. For smaller jobs, the portable cordless duster should provide the fan power that you need. As an additional use, I found that the fan worked great to remove a small amount of sawdust from my bandsaw, without requiring me to pull out my larger compressor. I tested the fan with a candle at 1, 3, and five feet and was able to extinguish the light with each test. Beyond five feet, however, the fan was not able to blow out the candle. The portable air duster should prove perfect for small to medium projects. PROS Lightweight Rechargeable/Cordless 6000 mAh Battery. Portable. Strong Airflow. Eco Friendly without chemicals/propellants. Attachable duster brush. Cons: No carrying case.

Pretty Good
I 've owned this since 2021. The battery failed a couple of weeks ago so about 4 years of use. It stills works when connected to power but it can't hold a charge anymore.

An awesome duster, though the cost seems a bit high
Tired of constantly buying cans of compressed air only to discover that they were empty when needed, I decided to try this duster as an alternative. I was put off by the price - $60 for this thing?! - but have ultimately come to be happy with it. I use it exclusively for dusting the internals of my PC. BUILD QUALITY: The exterior body is a fairly cheap plastic, but it feels hefty in the hand - likely due to the weight of the motor - and hasn't broken yet despite a few months of use. I definitely wouldn't want to drop it on a hard surface as I imagine the case would probably crack or chip, but otherwise the device itself seems solid. The trigger performs well with a satisfying click when pressed, though it does take a couple of seconds for the duster to get up to speed. To get a sense of the size, it's about the size of a compact hairdryer - like those in hotels - at the base. The included USB charging cable is cheap as expected but gets the job done. For my purposes, the relatively poor build quality isn't a problem, though I will say I'm a bit disappointed for the price. It'd be nice of the handle had a more rubberized texture rather than the matte plastic. 4/5 FUNCTIONALITY/EASE OF USE: This duster puts out an IMPRESSIVELY powerful stream of air. I have no problem getting into all of the nooks and crannies deep in my PC to blow out all kinds of dusty nastiness. The flip side of this is that this thing is LOUD - much louder than the typical cans of compressed air. Something to be aware of in case you're trying to use something that won't drive everyone around you nuts. Since I use this only at home, this isn't a big issue for me. I do a pretty thorough cleaning of my PC about once a month, and the battery has lasted several cleanings at this point. I think I've only charged it once in the several months that I've had it. Other reviewers have discussed the fact that the battery loses its ability to hold a charge over time, which I haven't had any issues with so far. For occasional use, I imagine this won't be an issue, but if you're planning on using this all the time - say you work at a car wash doing detailing work, for example, and use this all-day, every day - obviously this may be a bit of a problem. I'll be sure to update my review if this ends up being an issue. Putting aside the cost, I'm pretty happy with how this little unit performs. 5/5 VALUE: As of this review, a 4-pack of compressed air costs about $20 on Amazon. Compared to cans of compressed air, I like that this duster doesn't get cold with extended use, doesn't develop condensation on the exterior, and doesn't randomly spray out condensed gas when tilted every so slightly. All of these are nice advantages since I use it exclusively to clean the internals of my PC. The fact that I don't have to wonder if the can of compressed air that I might have on-hand will fail on me in the middle of the cleaning is also a nice benefit. Is this worth the $60 I paid for it? Probably not. I always judge the "value" of products on whether or not I have some sense of feeling "ripped off" after using the product, and I definitely feel that way here. Without knowing anything about how much it costs to produce one of these things, a $30-40 price seems more reasonable to me. OVERALL: If, like me, you're tired of using cans of compressed air for whatever it is you need them for, think about getting one of these dusters. Yes, it's pricey, but the convenience of not having to continually buy compressed air or the other downsides of compressed air is definitely worth something. For my use case, this thing is great. I just feel bad paying as much as I did for it.

Great! A little pricey..
Works great! I've had it for a few days now and I've been blowing dust out off all sorts of stuff I couldn't get to before, tops of cupboards, fan blades, little crevices in window sills, etc.. my main concern was getting the dust out of my computer. I've been having heating issues lately and I blew all the dust out of the case, and nooks and crannies I couldn't get to. I was going from 50°c idle to around 35°c. Massive improvement! It doesn't take long at all to charge. Plenty of power out of this little thing. One negative is the cheap materials it's made out of. It's cheap plastic, so it will break easily if dropped or mis handled. The on/off trigger feels a little recessed and kinda feels like if I push too hard on it, that it will break it. It's a little loud. Not really a big issue. Think of it as a hand held anti-vaccuum . The attachments fit well enough. It does have a good battery life and takes no time to charge. I'm not sure I would have spent $70 on it. I got it on sale for $50 and it still seems a little steep considering the same technology is out there for cheaper. Example being a hair drier.

Junk with Junk Battery, Unable to Work After Twice Used
I was happy to have this item, but now I am upset and not going to buy another of these cordless air duster again. first off, the power of the air dust does work in big areas of dust, but not all it as few dust sticks on the surface. Still it does its job as what a air duster use for. However and worst of all, I left it charged after it was out of battery. Later it was full charge, but now it's not operating anymore after pressing trigger. I tried and tried and still not functioning. I'm VERY upset to lose worth of $60 of a bad battery that couldn't charge, AND I JUST USED IT 2 TIMES! Never going to trust a cordless air duster again if this is how I'm going to be scammed of my money that I was dreaming of wanting a device that saves me money.

Incredible power!
Easy to set up, just take it out of the box, pop the nozzle end on, charge it with any USB charger you have around, and it just works! Hold down to have it blow until you let go. Tap twice to make it blow until you tap to shut it off. That's about all you need to know. No more having to buy canned air and frankly feel stupid about buying cans of air and throwing it into the garbage and chemicals coming out of it etc. Now you have something like a tire compressor but small and in your hand. It can work with the cord if you need to, but it's mostly meant to be charged and then used cordless. It's light and of course with no cord you can just pick it up and go anywhere! I'm using it to clean old phones--much too risky for antique circuits to wipe them with rags. But it will be great for my modern computer too--same deal, vacuum take dirt truly away, so do that first, but vacuum can't wipe off that gray film. So vacuum once, blast with this once, then vacuum on a final pass to get the extra stuff this makes come loose. Something to know rather than get mad about, it doesn't come with the actual wall part of the charger, just the cord. But to me that's good--I have lots of old chargers around where the item has long since died, so I'd just as soon not have to pay for a charger with newer devices I buy of any kind. If you do need the actual charger part, Amazon has some nice ones that I give people if I am, say, giving an item like this for a holiday present. You can also charge it from your computer, though that's slower than a wall charger. It also doesn't have all those strangely-shaped attachments, but I didn't want that--for example, a narrow nozzle or a wider nozzle that clips to it, which is going to blow dirt better--the narrow nozzle every time. For those that care, it's also very light, barely feel it, which means you can use it longer and get finer control. Price, sure, it costs more than a can of air, but it is full forever, so if you clean any significant amount you'll be ahead pretty soon, plus you don't sit there trying not to run out, you can just let it fly at things. I'm trying to think who else I know who could use this as a present because I'm sure it would be a hit with them too.

Not the same as compressed air bottled
Let's start off with the goods. It's a handy little blower that doesn't require to be plugged in. However, it is not as strong as a new can of compressed air using the red tube. I needed a more economical and environmental way to clean my robovac filters. The can air was working fine but I went through a can a week. I bought this little blower to help save money and the environment. But it was not as strong as the can air. Because after I used this cordless blower on the filters where I could not see any more dust coming off, I wanted to see if anything was left behind. I used the can air with the red tube and more dust was still being blown out of the filter that the cordless blower wasn't strong enough to blow out. I returned his blower for a refund and got a corded blower that is much stronger than this blower for the same price.

Still Going Strong 3 Years Later!
I absolutely love this duster! I bought it in 2022 and it is still going strong. I use it to blow dust off of everything including the dog!! It holds a charge, and it’s the perfect compact size so I can use it anywhere. I have never regretted this purchase!
