If you’re even looking at this listing, you know that the Nintendo eshop is perpetually sold out of this. I was lucky to get an open box from desertcart for a great deal. It was worth every penny. It’s solid, has a good weight, and feels just like the original. It connects very easily to the Switch. I also use it on my Steam Deck. No lag. Works perfectly. I play not only the NSO SNES app but many other “old school” rereleases such as The Castlevania collection and Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection. My only gripe is that it doesn’t have a home button and cannot be remapped on the Switch settings itself but if a specific game has remapping in the options, it can do that. It can also be remapped on Batocera on the Steam Deck very easily. Bite the bullet and get one on desertcart because I don’t think it will ever not be sold out on Nintendo’s Eshop. Review: 1990's vibe! - My daughter has a Nintendo Switch and I wanted to introduce her to some of the games I grew up on (Donkey Kong, Super Mario, old school SNES) but I guess I'm old because those controllers and my fingers just don't work well together. Purchased the controller where I guess I only do well with the SNES and it did not disappoint. I love how it's just like the old school controller, the feel and the buttons. I like having it cordless and the charge lasts quite a while. This plus the Nintendo pack for SNES will definitely bring back some memories for the 90's babies! I want to get more of these amazing controllers and I highly recommend it.
