A Post Nuclear Role Playing Collection. Review: Classic and holds up well - Played through all of the old Fallout games right before Fallout 3 came out - they held up surprisingly well and I really enjoyed them quite a lot. Might be a lot easier to download them elsewhere though. Great games! Review: Great Collection - Bought this collection for my boyfriend who, at the time, was foaming at the mouth in anticipation for Fallout 3. He played through two of the games but quit Fallout Tactics before the end saying it wasn't as fun as the other games. He enjoyed it but hasn't even considered playing the games since Fallout 3 came out. After we bought Fallout 3 and I played that game and loved it, I thought I'd try the predecessors. But I found the older Fallouts to not be as engaging as the current game - maybe I'm just spoiled by the better graphics and easier controls but I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone who has played Fallout 3 and wants to give the older games a try. Good buy for boys feeling nostalgic!

AWESOME!
PROS: Great graphics being that it's an older game. Good Combat system. Endless freedom. AWESOME Game!! CONS: In game play you are on your own - basically it doesn't guide you through the game. Mature game - not meant for kids. Have to use your brain to make tough decisions throughout the game. Would you recommend to a friend: Yes!

Not bad
It's not a bad game, but I can't get into it much. Fallout 1 suffers from blackouts on XP (I've tried every fix listed online, so I'll probably have to run a virtual machine with Win 95 or something), but Fallout 2 can run on XP fine. I'm about 3 hours into it, though I don't care for it too much. I personally prefer Diablo 2, though Fallout allows much more interaction with the environment. Check out no mutants allowed for the patches and stuff for the game.

Fallout Collection
Wanted to try the first games, before buying Fallout 3: Las Vegas. The game was not what I expected. Thought it was a first person shooter game. It's a 3rd person game, which is fine, but I did not like the game at all, at least the first one I tried. Did not try the others, thinking they are similar.

It is Great. Fine even
It is Great. Fine even. I only have 1 problem. I can Only Download Fallout 1. Not 2. Not Tactics. Only 1.

Classics
This bundle has the classics before Bethesda was really able to sink its teeth in and evolve into what it is today

pretty good
I mainly got this for the tactics game. Other family members love fallout 1 & 2. It does have a few issues crashing with XP, but so far tactics does not. Tried to find a patch for 1&2 online without any luck. Overall I am happy with the game considering that it's running on XP, instead of the OP it was designed for.

I actually bought this package over a year ago and forgot to leave a response (oops). But it is a remarkable package! Fallout 1 has to be my favourite out of the whole package, it must be said it is a fascinating game! It has crude and sometimes sick humour, but that's exactly what i love about this game, it's hilarious. Fallout 2 is ok, i'm finding it a bit slow to start with (unless you're not meant to use guns at all in it....) but still a good game. The Brotherhood of Steel game is all right. It has taken quite a bit of slating from the hardcore fans, but it does what it intended to do. Make a squad based Brotherhood of Steel game. It didn't do it as well as i had expected, but hey, see it as a "bonus game" to Fallout 1 and 2. There was only one problem that i did find (might be my system however). When i run this game on Windows XP (even after changing properties to Windows 95) it would only play on a very small section in the centre of my scree, with the rest blanked out. You know, like when you see a widescreen film and it has those black strips? So if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, i'll be glad to take them. I would recommend this game to all RPG fans, veteran Fallout players (you know who you are!) and people who love games because of their humour.
