I really like the information but there are no templates.

I am retired and looking for a new hobby. This book is very informative. Details in material and tool purchase and simple patterns for a beginner.

This is a pretty decent book. The projects make sense, and are fairly easy to follow. HOWEVER, there are a few issues I encountered. It could be just me, but I'll mention them. The flower pot project will be what I'm discussing. I'd been looking forward to doing it, and the result in the book is really nice. First off, it lists the amount and color of time for each row. But it doesn't say what SIZE tile. It says to cut the tiles in half. But which ones? There was a mention of a 3rd row. From the bottom or top? Also, I feel there should have been a mention of alternate tiles if you can't find the ones listed. As a result, many of the tiles I couldn't find, so I said oh heck I'll do it in glass. Since it says to use thinset mortar for outside use, I didn't use it because this will be an indoor pot. Thinset mortar, look it up. There's a description in the front of the book, but one should have been included with the project. When you put on the bottom tiles, there's a mention of spacing from the bottom. A picture of this spacing with the pot would have helped. In the list of tiles, there's no way to know which row they are going to. The pictures dont show much because the colors are dark. At any rate, there are some good projects to try. I would strongly suggest reading through EVERY bit of the project instructions so you can make sure you have the correct items, and also if the instructions are clear.

This book is great for beginners and novices. I recommend it.

A great resource book for all mosaic artists, more designs to add to already existing projects, highly recommended.

Excellent o formative book. Discusses materials and offers mosaic projects . All well illustrated and explained. Very pleased with it
