Great texture and taste!!!
I'm a southern cook and I know good when I taste it. This stuffing added to my baked corn bread makes the best tasting "Corn bread dressing" on this side of heaven. It's firm, flavorful and has a richness to it. Try it, you won't regret it.

Best purchase I have ever made. I have also had the other variety The Herb Stuffing and it was good also, but I'm from the south and I have to have Cornbread Dressing. This is sooo easy to make and takes just like homemade. I did add the sauteed onion and celery and it takes a little more chicken broth than is listed on the package., plus any brand will work. Before you start to layer, save about a heaping Tablespoon of dressing, I will explain below. I will either boil chicken thighs and breasts and then chop into bite size pieces. I will then spray my 9x13 casserole dish with Pam, put a layer of the dressing, followed by a layer of the meat mixture and repeat ending with dressing on top. Bake at 350 degrees until nice and brown on top. Be sure and watch your edges (spray the sides well) to make sure they are not getting to brown. If your edges start to look to brown go ahead and remove. This casserole tastes exactly like Turkey and Dressing! Sometimes I will add a can of cream of chicken and cream of celery soup along with extra chicken to richen the dish. You can't screw this up EXCEPT to burn it. You can still make the old fashion south giblet gravy (minus the giblets). You can reserve a small amount of meat and chop extra fine. I use a stick of butter, melt in large saucepan with high sides. Add my flour and stir to make my roux, but I really don't let it brown, I always add a heaping tablespoon of the dressing add a little of heating chicken broth and stir well. Then I add milk to thicken, I always warm my milk up before I make any type of gravy before I add it to the flour mix, as to me it doesn't seem to clump up as bad. Of course you know as you add the milk you have to add it slowly and stir with a slotted spoon very quickly and you should have smooth gravy every time. Just bring the heat up slowly after it's mixed well and let it boil to thicken. Always cover with a lid after everyone has served to keep a thick skim from forming and wasting your gravy! GREAT PRODUCT!
I love this. for me there is no better cornbread stuffing on the planet but it's very hard to find in my stores anymore. I have looked and looked, none of the stores have it, they use to but not anymore. Last year was almost impossible. The stores have the other(herb) but no cornbread. I was happy to find it on amazon but the price was way too high to me. I got it anyway, with the world being like it is now I didn't want Thanksgiving to be anymore disappointing

Fast & Taste Good
I use this brand for our stuffing at Thanksgiving. It is the only brand I will use because of the freshness, size and flavor. We live in a rural area and it's hard to get this at our local store. So glad it's available online. It has a long shelf life too.

Too expensive!
When I purchased it in the description it said two bags but when I got it there was only one and I went back to check and it had corrected and I paid $8 for one damn bag of dressing that's just too expensive! And not worth it! Will never order from here again!
