Will this fit a 201-2 singer?

(Very delayed answer for the benefit of future customers.) Yes. I installed this bulb in an early -50's 201-2 machine. It fit perfectly with no issues. I can't speak for removal (that's where I usually get into trouble) but the bulb is easy to install and works correctly.

Will this bulb fit in a 1970’s Athena 2000 sewing machine?

If it has the same two nubs that hold it in place it should. (This bulb is held in place with two nubs.)

Will this fit my 1949 Singer Feather weight machine?

I used it in my Kenmore, but i believe so.
