I used to use a cleaner that claimed to be safe for wool. While my socks did come clean, I noticed that my socks weren't wicking moisture like they did when new. After researching, I decided to give this a shot. After one wash, my socks were wicking moisture like new again. The fragrance isn't offensive and doesn't cause me to break out. It cleans well, and leaves my socks soft and moisture wicking. If you need a detergent for your wool socks, I'd highly suggest this. The only downside is the cost. It's a little pricey, but is worth it for renewing your wool..

I won't use anything else to clean merino wool outdoor clothing! Other laundry detergents with enzymes will eventually weaken and tear wool garments. Nikwax Wool Wash is formulated specific for wool, leaving it clean and soft as if it is brand new. Honestly it has a unpleasant chemical scent in the bottle. But it leaves a neutral scent in the wash that I like for my technical clothes. There are other detergents formulated specifically for cleaning wool, but I like Nikwax because it is specific for merino wool baselayers, socks, and outdoor gear I wear. It is not cheap but you do not have to use much. One small bottle goes a long way.

A bit pricey but works really well for merino wool. Merino wool vendors should probably put a bottle in with their products to help out with washing.

WOW! woolies are renewed and soft this was a real surprise we have tried several wool laundry products with no where near the great results we got with this NikWax offering. Actually went through the whole woolie stash and soak/washed all the garments - even if they were stored clean. Each came out softer and with renewed drape to the fabric. We already got the bigger size because we will use it on all the natural fabric clothing we have.Bamboo, hemp, viscose.

As someone who almost exclusively wears wool year round, this detergent is awesome. My clothes are soft, clean, and odor free no matter what state they were in before a wash. Generally I can get away with slightly less than the amount listed per load, even for workout clothes so one bottle lasts about three months at our house

Det är en bra produkt som bevarar ullens unika funktion, men lukten är väldigt skarp och inte så fräsch som man förväntar sig av ett tvättmedel. Jag kommer ändå att fortsätta köpa denna, men önskar att de kunde ändra doften...

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem guten Waschmittel für meine Kleidung/Decken aus Wolle wie Merino und Mohair. In verschiedenen Internetforen wurde ich auf Nikwax aufmerksam. Der Duft ist sehr angenehm und dezent. Sowohl bei der Hand- als auch bei der Maschinenwäsche konnte das Waschmittel überzeugen. Meine Woolsachen waren noch nie so weich. Klare Kaufempfehlung! :)

Excelente calidad del producto. Lo utilizo para ropa de lana que no quiero enviar a la tintorería.
