Liberty Safe Handgun Vaults Mounting Bracket

An excellent solution for hard-mounting the vault. But, my concrete slab is like kryptonite, and I've snapped off two different brand new masonry bits trying to get one hole drilled into the carpet covered slab - one with the normal hammer drill, and one size up using my SDS-Plus rotohammer. This thing just doesn't want to be installed. Guys who mounted my big safe had no issue putting 1/2" holes into the slab with a much smaller rotohammer than mine.

The bracket itself is great, not much can go wrong with a metal plate that has holes drilled in it. But the mounting hardware they provided is garbage, 2 of the 4 screw heads busted off the moment they met resistance getting tight against the bracket. I ended up using better screws I had laying around the house and had to repair the countertop with screws stuck in it.

Easy to install. I did use 1/4" shorter screws just so it didn't go through surface. Added screws just because I had them too. Clean mount, clean set up.

Very secure

Installation was very simple. The screws were slightly too long for my shelf but the excess ends did not cut off too easily. Good quality!

I love it. Works perfectly. Very easy installation. Nobody is going to walk away with my gun safe unless they plan taking the house with it! I recommend this mounting bracket to everybody.
