In my hurry to order these (since I already have one from another company that works fine) I was not careful enough to notice that the RONXS brand does not have a safety catch or latch. Just ON and Off with a readily recognizable on-off symbol. Basically, any THREE-YEAR-OLD could turn it on!! With grandchildren around, this is not the right brand for me. These ARC lighters, even when you turn them on, just don't look very scary since there is no flame. It is just too tempting for a child without having a safety latch on it. I am going to return these and buy another brand with a safety.

If you have that special someone that has everything, this is the perfect gift! It comes beautifully boxed with a charger & works like a dream! The lighter that never runs out of fuel that’s sleek & chargeable! It even tells you when it’s ready to be charged! Great item!

So far I’m liking this lighter. It’s lightweight, easy to operate, doesn’t eat batteries because it’s rechargeable, and I’ve never had a problem lighting a candle or grill with it - it absolutely has performed every time.

We don't smoke in the house, so the need for lighters is purely for candles and barbeques. This product has replaced all of our lighters for these purposes! The first time we used it, defintely spooked because of the "spark" it created in the system. Nothing that hurt us, just a sound I wasn't expecting when the charge lit up. But once you move past that initial spook, it works great and is safe to use for our home with two small children. I'm also excited about the rechargeable aspect, where I don't have to buy those pesky lighters anymore.

I like how long it is and you can curve the neck. I mainly use it to light candles. It is basically an electrical current that beams across the front tip, and that's what lights whatever your using it for. I assume it would work great if it was windy or breezy, as is doesn't blow out. The charge seemed to last a long time. That said, I don't use it often. You just charge with a cord that looks like an android phone charger.

I love this! I didn’t fully know what to expect when I ordered it, but it’s better than I thought! The best part is that its regargable. We love candles in our house and I hate when the larger candles get low because then the glass gets hot before you are able to actually light it (I’ve broken a glass table by dropping a hot large yankee candle on it) so trust me my fiancé is very happy we got this 😊

My gas lighters are always empty when I go to use the. The Ronxs lighter is great. Always ready to light a candle or many candles on a birthday cake! Very pleased! And it is rechargeable!

Honestly I ordered this with VERY low expectations, I am a bath lover and as everyone knows you need a bunch of candles going to truly enjoy a great bath...So, I ordered this. It came (quickly!) and after my husband played with it for a while (men and fire/electricity-amirite?!) anyway after he was done I was able to try it on my candles-it's awesome!Does it take a bit to light the wick? Sometimes, but it's seconds not minutes, and if you use it for the first light on a candle it takes a few extra seconds more for the extra wax to melt down again, we are still talking seconds here.What is an extra bonus for candle lovers like me, is that you do not have to worry about getting an angle for air for the lighter as you try to contort your hand into the jar candles when the wick is low (I have tried the BBQ lighters and I have never found one that doesn't always go out when lighting the bottom wicks). With this, you just need to make sure the angle is right for the wick to get air make sure the wick hits that arc and boom, done!My husband spent a good three minutes trying to blow out the arc, he was unsuccessful so that is a plus for those windy days lighting a fire, or BBQ, etc.I am ordering him three of his own so mine doesn't go 'missing'.Also, did I mention it's RECHARGEABLE?!

Conception de bonne qualité fait de bon métal et de plastique de bonne qualité j'avoue que le plastique sur le manche pourrai être meilleur ou être changer pour du métal mai fait bien le travail quand même et le bout ou il y a l'arc jusqu'au manche est fait de très bon métal en plus de bien ce plier dans divers sens ce qui est pratique pour allumer divers bougie l'arc est très petit donc n’est pas très approprier pour allumer quelque chose avec un gros bout comme un cigare ou autre qui est plus gros qu'une mèche de chandelle ce que j'adore de ce produit c'est le fait que je n'ai ps a le remplir d’essence ou a acheter briquer après briquet et en plus est beaucoup plus sécuritaire a utiliser qu'un lighter ordinaire qui a tendance a me bruler les doigts avec ce lighter a plasma pas de risque et pas de recharge ou de rachat du moins pas avant longtemps du au manche en plastique qui est la seul pièce susceptible de briser plus rapidement le reste étant fait de bon métal devrai pas briser avant longtemps.La batterie dure longtemps et est facile d'utilisation et ce recharge très bien fini les lighter a essence et fini l'achat de briquet ou allumettes qui brule ce brise ou ce vide beaucoup trop vite,idéal ce lighter pour allumer toute sorte de bougie encens et même son BBQ je recommande.

This product does the task it is intended for, and does it well enough. Will light wicks and other items, although sometimes it does take a second before something catches aflame. Charge lasts seemingly long, ours is not used that often but still has 4 lights on. I think this product will last awhile and having to charge it is more convenient than having purchase new bbq lighters every once in a while.

It is very convenient no doubt! It’s a bit tricky at first to get used to to be affective but then it works well.The only negative part is that after lighting only a few candles part of the silver area around him where the arc flame comes out has already turned black and I’m not sure if this will continue. Any feedback from others?
