Good quality item for the price.
Relatively inexpensive for what you get. It is built very well. I wouldn't hesitate using this leg holster with complete confidence. This holster does offer a great degree of adjustability. The nylon looks to be of good quality. The holster also has a magazine pouch located fore of the pistol holder, and looks to hold one pistol magazine securely. A strap is used for securing a pistol in the holster, and it is adjustable, with two separate metal snaps. I am guessing the snaps allow for user preference for unholstering the pistol either with the snap or with the nylon snap buckle around the grip. Snaps also hold the leg cushion to the main horizontal strap for the leg buckle. I am guessing that once you find your comfortable thigh adjustment, then you snap the horizontal strap front and back to the leg cushion for a tight fit. Should you move for an extended time and your thigh swells from blood circulation, you can unsnap the cushion again for a better fit without re-adjustment. Incorporated with the horizontal main strap is a section of elastic to allow for expansion when moving and allowing a good fit. Behind the main horizontal strap are a loop for and aft of the holster. These can be used to clip on accessories and are reinforced behind the main horizontal strap. I can barely squeeze an index finger into these loops. The leg padding is firm and a non slip nylon mesh is used to prevent unwanted sliding on pants material. The leg cushionis encircled on its edge with a strong nylon edging, double sewn for durability, however, where one end of this hem meets the other, it is located right in front of the cushion. I see this may be a problem with durability. It isn't finished at these edges as good as the rest of the holster, and is not smoothed down. I plan on doing my best to overcome this with adding something over this seam end. The belt loop is used to support the weight of the pistol and magazine, and is nice and thick with a good quality nylon strap. It too is adjustable, and has a nylon buckle for removing the holster. The holster is held on firmly and redundantly with loads of velcro. I did notice a made in China label tucked up in there, but honestly, this is one very strong nylon holster. Only time will tell. Aside from the hem issue, the only other thing I noticed that I didn't care for is a rubber label sewn into the bottom edge of the holster that says "TAG airsoft". Is this an airsoft holster? You could have fooled me!

Very good holster, but...
This holster is very well made, and a lot tougher than the picture would seem. If it fits your pistol, you can expect to get a long and useful life out of it. Therein lies the issue though - fitting the pistol. I purchased it for a 1911, but the pistol is not a good fit for the holster. The holster has an opening at the bottom that is a perfect fit for the barrel end of the 1911, letting it pass out the bottom of the holster. A wider/taller pistol frame, say a Glock or Springfield XD, would work great, but the 1911's muzzle end is just too small. The retention strap is a bit odd too, and while extremely secure, makes a quick release and draw very hard. One last thing. This holster is very adjustable for drop length and fit. However, there is a lot of Velcro used, and again that extra security works against ease of use. You can adjust this just right, but it will take a while and a lot of patience. Overall I liked it enough to keep it and use it for a different pistol, but I still ended up ordering a different holster that better suited my needs.

Nice tactical holster
I am a medium sized female 5'7 ft. Tall. This holster works well for me. I have a Berretta .45 px4 storm and it fits my gun and clip pretty well. If you have a smaller gun, this holster might be a little. The thigh strap is adjustableadjustable and can go much tighter than I need it...It is a little bit of a pain in the butt to adjust it because of the rubberized grip on the strap. The length can be adjusted too. The holster seems well made for the price. I am very happy with the purchase. I was trying to decide whether or not to go with a holster that had two thigh straps, or one like this with a single strap. I'm glad I went with this one. There is padding and some non-slip material so the strap doesn't ride down your thigh. Very comfortable. Make sure if you are going to buy this one, you buy the gen 2. There is another one utg makes that is similar, but according to reviews is not as good.

Excellent Holster...
I just got mine, Incredible, well constructed holster on materials & work, is US$17.00 so you don't get heavy plastics, in fact is very light plastic and could break on the long run on all 3 plastic parts, but for the price is just amazing, the velcro is top notch. It fits in my leg very good, I am a chubby guy (Fattso of 265 pounds at 5 feet 9 inches tall) and it fits. Rememer that this is not a fast draw holster, because it has buttons to draw the gun, but it fits my HK P30 perfectly, it protects all the metal of the gun, the magazine fits perfectly, so 5 stars for me...

Best leg holster ever. No competition! (Update)
I recently bought this as an addition to my tac-harness, and I have to say that it's amazingly well made. The construction is great and can take a lot of abuse. I'm thinking of ordering one for my cousin who is in the military. A lot of other reviews I've read are from military personnel saying that they prefer this variant over the standard issue. Big kudos to UTG on that. It has one pouch for spare mag and rubber inner-lining leg strap. So once it's in place it doesn't move around. Fits everything that I can slide into it from a large frame .44 magnum to a large frame .45 auto. Fits my gun like a glove. (((Update: 1/31/13))) So it turns out that while this still isn't a bad holster it's not one that I'd look at taking into combat. I have big legs and the thigh strap is way too tight. I'm going to be upgrading soon to a BLACKHAWK! Tactical Holster Platform with a BLACKHAWK! Serpa CQC Carbon Fiber Black Holster (Matte Finish) instead. This should prove to be a bit better. Don't get me wrong, this thing is built like a tank but it will not fit my 1911. The barrel just sinks right through the hole in the bottom unlike my Ruger P-90. Size matters, I guess. Another big gripe is the plastic retainer clip that holds the gun in the holster. That is a serious design flaw. It takes too long to unclip the fastener and draw your weapon, especially if you have a stiff fastener. Durable, yes. Well put-together, yes. Well designed, no.

I LIKE IT
This is a great holster. $15 is a good price, and I got what I paid for. The army digital looks really cool and is great for the desert area in Phoenix, where I live. Unlike many reviews say, I am able to tighten the straps so it is very comfortable. I then cut or tucked in the straps so they wouldnt dangle around. When first took it out of the package, I was confused as to why there are so many straps, but I later figured out that they were all for a valid purpose. I use this holster for my daisy 15xt and the holster holds it well. The 15xt is a very small sidearm, about the size of an M1911, but not as long. I would reccomend this holster, but maybe consider the smaller UTG holster aswell. As far as I could find, there are 4 models of UTG holsters. All different sizes, price based on size. This is the second biggest, and I would also reccomend the one that is slightly smaller than this.

Appears to be of good materials and workmanship. One size may not not fit all.
From the start I do recommend this product. But I'm and amateur. Not pro/subject matter expert so pardon my ignorance. Your mileage may vary. Product arrived as expected and appears to be good materials and workmanship. We'll see how it performs/lasts over time. There is a lot of Velcro giving the impression of lots of flexibility for adjust-to-fit but that doesn't seem to be the case for me. One size may not not fit all but I believe I can adapt. Pros: Quality workmanship and materials. I find that the slip limiting material on thigh strap and holster pad/backing very effective through a wide range of movement. Fair range of adjustments/flexibility. Plenty of Velcro? My S&W Highway Patrolman .357 with 4" barrel fits perfectly as does my Beretta NEOS 22LR. Cons: Much of the Velcro doesn't seem to have any real value/use. When adjusting the thigh strap the slider ends up right between my legs and can chafe. If cinched it up to the base of the clip the tail is left flapping. I've settled for a midway but still don't like loose end flapping. I wear my utility belt on my hips below my pant belt. I have a 26" reach, 22" pit to grip. So, the initial adjustment for belt to holster length puts the but of my sidearm a tad bit too low for me. At best I will have a 3 inch reach for my sidearm. If I use the Velcro to cinch it up as far as it goes and attach the Velcro past the backside of the buckle it renders the buckle useless (not sure why I would need that anyway). This still leaves me with a 1-2 inch reach for grip and 2 inch+ to the quick release snaps.

exceeded my expectations and i'm glad i didn't buy something that was several times the cost
the quality of the actual materials surprised me for this price point. however, the stitching is an issue. threads started fraying and coming lose after i fit it to my leg. and one area of the holster is coming apart uner the weight of my gear. i had to stop carrying a magazine with it to lighten the load and stop the damage. i am using this for a glock 20 with a tungsten guide rod. this holster could easily fit something larger. my glock 20 fits well in the trigger guard area but there is a lot of room to play around the slide, especially near the top. the retention strap is tight enough to keep the movement within the holster to a minimum. i use this casually at home and its extremely comfortable. my leg does sweat and does experience some irritation after several hours, its still better than my other at home carry methods. i have health issues that make other carry areas, especially the abdominal area, sensitive to pressure. so this has been a relief for me. i wear a gun belt over some athletic shorts and i'm able to make it functional without making it tight enough to bother me. the thigh strap can also be uncomfortable if you actual tighten it enough to stay exactly where you want it. i wear it just above my knee and only make it tight enough to not constantly rotate around, but when sitting the weight of the gun makes it slide down to the side, not a big deal though. if you use this with loose clothing that is made of a heavier material then you will experince some pinching due to the material bunching up underneath, still not a big deal. the comfort and versatility to carry all of my hanguns makes this a great value.

Günstig und gut
Passt perfekt für SIG P226 LDC. Gut verarbeitet, robust und das Holster rutscht nicht am Oberschenkel. Waffe ist gut gesichert.Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Solid, good quality, very useful.
Absolutely incredible quality and very rugged and durable. Fair price and fast shipping. Holster size is great for a wide range of side-arm sizes, from small air-soft pistols to bigger hand guns. With the belt hoop and leg strap, it can hold a significant weight no problem. If it is carrying a heavier gun, the padded leg strap will provide adequate cushioning for your leg. The entire strap of the UTG Leg Holster (basically the entire upside-down T that is pictured) can be removed to leave a smaller, and equally heavy duty holster for your gun. There is a belt loop (used to secure the leg strap when assembled) with which you can secure the holster to your belt. The utility clip that covers the rear grip is adjustable and has the perfect level of ease to open it: not too easy so it'll open by itself, and not too tight so that it won't open in a hurry. This is a great product; I fully recommend it.

Great Quality for the Price!
This is a good quality holster at an amazing price! Was going to buy the exact leg rig for my HK P2000 from R. Nichols until I found out it would be $140.00 just for the thigh rig, holster would be extra, and no free shipping! Bought this not really expecting much for $20.00. Was I wrong! It's exactly like any other thigh rig/holster except its not made of the composite materials. I see this lasting a long time even if I don't take good care of it! If I have a complaint, I'd like the leg strap to be just a little longer. My thigh is pretty thick and the strap just makes it around with about 1/2 inch to spare.
