KEO Grip 0 Degree Cleats, Black

The last couple of cleat replacements I thought I'd save a few bucks but now I've learned my lesson. The Look cleats performed perfectly from the first time on the pedals unlike the cheaper knockoffs that always seemed to take a few long rides to break-in and function properly and safely. For the sake of my knees and ankles it's only original Look cleats in my future!

Very good.... What was shown on the screen was exactly what I got. I loved it.

The rubber pads on the bottom are a new feature. While this is good if you walk around in your cycling shoes, it is a detractor from their smooth functioning. My attitude is that a cleat and cycling shoe should be foremost designed for its intended purpose - to rigidly attach the foot to the pedal so that the leg, foot, pedal and crank function as a single unit. The shoe/cleat is the critical connection. The rubber pad(s) on the underside of the cleat, which serves a secondary function - walking, forms a small lip at the front of the cleat and so swift entry of the foot into the pedal is sometimes impeded, causing a moment where additional effort and attention is required to insert the cleat. This provides the competitor with a disadvantage. I suggest that the zero float cleat, which is primarily used in competition, be constructed with out the rubber pad to eliminate this problem. Most competitors have great respect for the integrity and durability of their shoes/cleats and don't habitually walk on them anyway.

I got these along with cycling shoes to finally tackle the clip pedals on my bike. The cleats were pretty easy to install on my shoes. Seem to working well so far!

Något besviken. En femtedel av halkskyddet lossnade efter ca tio timmars användning. Annars har mina föregående Look-klossar av samma typ fungerat klanderfritt tills de slutligen slitits ut.
