Toddler Songs

Love this CD. I drove from NC to FL and listened to this the whole way. My son seemed to enjoy all the songs and kept him calm and at ease during the drive.

The children love singing along and dancing

We pretty much keep this CD on repeat in our car whenever I'm taking the kids somewhere. Many of the classics, with some new ones I wasn't familiar with.

For playing in the car

I couldn't listen to this more than once. Every song sounds the same. Even my toddler got bored with it. Oh well.

Recently my great-granddaughter visited from out of state, and I had purchased this CD for entertainment. She is two years old and adored all the songs, thus we played it over and over. Good choice.

Will be great for preschool music classes, very upbeat and fun songs!

Having read the reviews, overall this CD seemed to be the one for me. However, this CD is disappointingly American. No issues if you are American or don’t mind your children learning an American twang or if you want them to say zee instead of zed but if you’re old fashioned like me then this CD isn’t for you.The old classics are different so it’s quite hard to sing along to (in Ring o’ Roses, for example, they sing “ashes, ashes” instead of “atishu, atishu”). The songs are also incredibly fast paced and quite high pitched. Not what I was looking for at all. The only saving grace out of all this is that it was cheap: I will be taking it to the charity shop in the morning!

I bought this CD for my 2 1/2 year old to balance out all the German songs he learns in daycare. It has a lot of "classic" children's songs that all English-speaking children grow up knowing. Hokey Pokey, London Bridges, BINGO, Itsy Bitsy Spider etc. The arrangements are nice. There are a few original songs on the CD and they are ok (Christian), as well. The liner notes are nice. That way I can sing the 2nd and 3rd verses (who knows them anyway!!!!) with the CD. Overall a good purchase and nicely done.
