Yes buy this book! Why? It has maneuvers in depth in it and makes your life easier when studying or refreshing the material. Wish I had this for when I was going through training! Clear, printed decent size, pictures, love it like it own it ๐

Very concise summary of basic helicopter maneuvers. Well explained with tips on FAA test and safety. Fast read and quick reference prior to lesssons when you need a little help. Of course, there is huge difference between theory of helicopter flight and actual experience. Nothing can teach you that, unfortunately except getting in the thing.

Super easy to read and understand, nice pictures and explanation... instructor tips and common student errors.. for every pilot itโs a must have (in my opinion).. highly recommended

All the info you need in one place. Easy to understand. Clear diagrams. Not extremely technical, but the basics of what you need to know. Perfect for a review and for new pilots.

It really is a useful guide to helicopter maneuvers even just for review. I prefer the spiral bound but more expensive than I'm willing to pay.

This book is worth reading if you want to fly a helicopter someday.
This is a good book to learn or review helicopter maneuvers. Especially if you want to fly the Robinson R-22, which is used in the examples, but for general principles of helicopter flight.

Well written!
The clarity of both the written instructions and the illustrations of the maneuvers is impressive. The 'tips' and 'common errors' are particularly helpful. I also like this author's Oral Exam Guide. He writes in an easily understood manner.
