these are a must-have for pin collectors! though I haven't had them on my backpack or jean jacket for very long, I tousled with them to test out how secure they were and I can tell that they won't fall off. they're much more secure than the rubber or butterfly pin backs. they're also pretty easy to take off once you learn how to loosen them, I'd recommend looking up some tutorials online to figure out how to do so. after reading some reviews about defective backs I tested all of them and I only found 2 of the 110 to be defective, which is pretty good. overall these are a good value for the money and very good quality, I'd highly recommend. 2+ year later update: it’s been years since I got these and I still can’t recommend them enough! to this day I’ve only had one pin fall off with these pin backs (and truthfully, I think it was a result of the pin itself, not the pin back), which is saying something, considering I have probably a good combined 70-80 pins on every single bag, backpack, jacket, pencil case, etc, that you can imagine. the amount you get for the price is also amazing too, like previously mentioned I have tons of pins on everything, and since I’ve gotten this pin backing set I can easily say I’ve doubled my pin collection, and I still have so many pin backings. I’ve recommended these to friends, and literally anyone who likes pins, whether you’re a collector or you only have a couple, I promise it’s worth the investment.

I am not one to write reviews but this one was a must. I recently went to Disneyland and I do pin trading at the parks but the pins holders that are Mickey do not hold your pins and lock it in. If you are using that you are bound to lose your pin at the park. I purchased these and thought I’ll give it a try and I got to say I was so amazed it kept my pins locked in nice and tight I went on rides with my lanyard and pins and they did not come off which amazed me even more. When it came down to pin trading removing it was a bit hard but nothing that practice wouldn’t help I recommend holding the pin firmly and pulling the back and twist and it will come right off! This was the only thing I had a little bit of difficulty with but other then that you get your moneys worth. Definitely recommend these pins if you are putting it on your backpack or lanyard you will definitely not be sorry you bought them!

I chose the black color 40ct. I bought these because I have lost pins in the past so I stopped wearing my denim that I covered in pins and patches because I was too paranoid about my pins falling off. These pin back are amazing and I’m not at all worried about losing my pins now. They’re very reliable and only come off if you pull the back tab and pull it off the pin. Get these!! Great value

These locking backs work so good, I almost broke a pin trying to get the back off. Directions say taking them off is simple but I would disagree. The lock doesn’t disengage as easily as the directions make you believe.

Have some "keepers" and want to make sure they don't walk off when you're showing them off? There these are for you. They arrived on time, in their own plastic storage box. They are the same size as a standard back but won't come off as easily, keeping your precious keepers safe. Just make sure that you really do want to keep the pins you secure with them in place. While normally very easy to remove, occasionally you'll find one where it gets "stuck". Usually in this uncommon event, you can eventually loosen the back's lift up top to remove it. But it may take a little effort when it does happen. I'd ding 1/2 star on easy to remove if Amazon would allow it. Otherwise, it is usually easy to do.

I'm one of those women that has to say something with her purse. In decorating my purse, it came with the issue of possibly losing pins. Buttons I didn't have to worry about, due to the safety pin backing (my "I like to nap but I stay woke" button is safe thank God), but when I almost lost a pin that had two backs (!!!), I knew I had to look for something more secure. In swoops Amazon to save the day. These are very easy to put on, but very difficult to get off, which I guess is the point. Bottom line, none of my pins have gotten loose since using these backs. I highly recommend them.

This is one of those products I didn't even know existed until I needed something to make sure pins stayed put and I am freaking thrilled with them. Now I don't have to listen to my son tell me he lost yet another pin. They're easy to use, the pins are secure, and they come apart like they should. These little things are pretty fantastic! Good value for the price.

Funcionan muy bien para asegurar los pines. Llevo dos semanas probando el seguro en un pin que puse en la mochila que uso diariamente y no se ha caido. Sin este seguro los pines siempre se me caian, este funciona perfectamente.

Me encanta decorar mis bolsas con toda clase de llaveros y pines, este producto me ha ayudado mucho a disminuir mi ansiedad por pensar que todos mis pines se caerían. Ya he probado su durabilidad usándolos en mi mochila del trabajo y jaloneandolos con libros, así como en otras bolsas con las cuales he ido a eventos donde los empujones, rosones y accidentes no han faltado. Todos mis pines siguen conmigo apesar de esto!! Muy buen producto, fácil de poner y también de quitar, el mecanismo es eficiente. Algunas piezas se atoran un poco, pero de inmediato logré remediar eso. Vienen en su cajita plástica para almacenarlos (mi foto ejemplo es para que vean la cajita, ya casi he usado todas las piezas) Sin duda lo volvería a comprar (espero el vídeo ayude a mostrarles que son duraderos, hice mi mejor intento)

Creí que no iban a sostener mis pines tan fuerte pero una vez puestos es casi imposible quitarlos! Definitivamente valen la pena, los volvería a comprar varias veces.
