First off the laptop itself is wonderful. I have slowly transitions my personal laptop and the hardware in my desktop to ASUS over the last few years. but this is not sold through ASUS directly. I knew that going in and you should be aware of it too. The RAM and Hard Drive are replaceable, but Apricot Power PC. has left out essential hardware for it.The pros and cons of going with this re-seller:Pros) They have put 4 GB of ram into the expansion slot so the system has 8 GB to work with. and they put in a SATA m.2 drive for fast windows boot times. the 4 GB that ASUS soldered into the computer is bare bones and i was going to upgrade to 8 or 12 GB anyways. so this saved me time and about $50 by going with this package.Cons) that SSD is only 128 GB, and while the title says "massive storage space for huge files" that statement just not true. Windows 10 itself uses about 40 GB, so there goes one third of your total storage space. Thankfully ASUS thought ahead, inside the case is room for a 2.5" hard drive or SSD. and the SATA m.2 drive is easily accessible when you take the back cover off. but unfortunately they have failed to include the cable for plugging in a second drive, nor the rubber mounting hardware to keep it isolated from bumps and shocks. If you buy from ASUS themselves you lose the 4GB extra of ram, but you get the hard drive cable and holder. if you are happy with only 80 GB of storage, which most casual computer users should be, then that is a non-issue. but if you plan on putting in a second hard drive later (such as a 1TB drive that only costs $45) then you might be better off going with buying from ASUS themselves.I bought this for my father who is not a heavy computer user, so it works perfectly for him. It out performs any computer he has owned in the past, but it did take some upgrading to bring the storage up to something resembling decent capacity.My credentials: I have a degree in software engineering and work as a developer who has been building my own desktops and modifying laptops for over 10 years.Edit: After more use, found out this is Windows 10 S Mode. If you want to install anything that is not in the Microsoft store you will need to disable S Mode, which I did as soon as i found out it was on. worked fine After, but the seller needs to properly mark as such.

I am extremely satisfied and hopefully will be able to order additional machines from them in the future. The item arrived fast and packed securely.I turned my machine into a dual boot laptop that runs either Linux Mint 19.3 or Windows 10, both systems work well, and the Linux distribution is super fast and responsive on this machine. Windows 10 brings it inherent system related slowness and headaches, for that reason alone it is helpful that this enhanced ASUS laptop was upgraded to offer plenty of RAM and ROM to allow for fast and flexible dual boot.The adjustable keyboard illumination is super helpful. Keyboard itself is responsive and quite. Overall I am super happy with NEXiPC and I continue to be happy with ASUS laptops which I have used for several years now.

This will certainly fill the needs of a student who has found themselves doing online classes. Nice clear mic and camera, with a 6+ hours battery life. Only real demerits are: the hardware is mobile optimized and not nearly as powerful as you'd think, matches the old 2012 macbook pro it replaced. Also, it's heavier than you'd think too, it's dense. Otherwise great!

Too soon to rate fairly but, if it is a good as my last laptop (also an Asus) I will be a happy camper. If it is not as good, I will be back on here and trash it!

Purchased three (3) 2019 ASUS VivoBook 15 15.6 Inch laptops for my grandkids (8, 9, 11 years old). They asked for ChromeBooks, but considering price, functionality, and performance, I decided to purchase these devices. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. I installed Fedora 31 x86_64 OS on them, and locked the laptops down to deliver a more-or-less ChromeBook set of features. Grandkids LOVE them! They work really well. It's amazing what they are learning. Thank you ASUS! Everything works without any additiona drivers and with no messing around. Fedora 31 was just a matter of install and use!

This laptop is a little misleading. It’s only good for games like LoL and anything above League will most likely lag tremendously. After two weeks of use with just downloading adobe products it’s already starting to freeze just by watching YouTube videos on chrome. I have no idea why, because I don’t have much applications, and I deleted most of my games to lessen the space taken. This laptop should not be labeled as a gaming laptop. It’s great for basic tasks or at most, a computer good for photoshop or other adobe illustrator. Other than that, most games lag, and the laptop is super slow with rarely anything done in the background. Might be the lack of memory.

It's good value for money. The Ryzen3 is good enough for the purpose of this laptop which is for online schooling. Noticed that YouTube videos turn green when paused. It's fixable by turning off a video playback feature, though.

The main reason why I bought this computer is because I use it to develop programs on several IDE's and also it works for web development.It's super fast and it doesn't get stuck easily.It came with Windows S version but I took it off in 5 minutes.

The laptop arrived fine, but no Windows 10 installed. Have to convert yourself. This was the second time I had to order, first time the laptop was stuck in BIOS, so useless, and Amazon took over a month to refund. Will go to a store next time.
