I recently purchased the “Master Cutlery 3 Piece Marble Red Katana Sword Set” and I’ve never been more satisfied with a purchase. If you’re someone who is looking to get a cool decorative piece to add character to your home, this is a must have, and for $33.50 it is an absolute steal. If you’re someone who has always had an eye for unique pieces, that seem out of the ordinary, but don’t want to go to over the top on an expensive martial arts weapons this is the product for you. These Katanas are the ultimate conversation starters, and will stand out in any room with people constantly gazing at the beauty of these swords. The best part about this product is that you’re not getting just one Katana, you’re not getting two Katanas, but you in fact get three, very real, very legit Katanas. The craftsmanship of these swords for the price that you pay is mindblowing. The steel blade is strong and durable, the handle is put together well, and the sheath that shelters the Katana is strong, and well made. If you’re questioning the price, and asking yourself how on earth could these swords be that well made at that low of a price, I assure you that it’ll be the best $30 you’ve ever spent. My one knock on the product is with the actual stand for the Katanas. You can tell that this is the cheapest part of the product made out of pressed wood with no unique design or flare to it whatsoever but again for the price that you pay that’s somewhat expected, and I don’t hold it against the people at Whetstone Cutlery. You’re buying this product for the Katanas not the stand, so you shouldn’t hold any grudges because of it. Now time for the million dollar question… If you could go back and buy this product again, would you? The answer is 100% yes. I’ve always wanted something cool like Katanas to have around at my house but I’ve never really gotten around to it due to high prices, and overall craftsmanship, but I assure you for what you’re paying this is a no brainer. You will absolutely love this product. Buy them now at this price before anything drastic happens and I guarantee you won’t have any regrets, or second guesses about it.

These display swords are very much a case of "you get what you pay for." For $30 or $40, don't expect fine craftsmanship, intricate work, or a piece you'll be slicing steak with. These aren't "real" swords in the sense that they're made to be used. They're not. They're purely for display purposes. And from that perspective, they're great. I have multiple sets and they do exactly what I want from them: they look good on the shelf. It's evident from the pieces that if you struck two of them together they'd probably break. One of them wobbles a bit in the hilt. The display stand is lightweight, cheap wood. But for $30 or $40, they are great looking display pieces that guests enjoy picking up and handling. They look nice and don't break the budget. That's really all I can ask from them, and as long as you're paying attention to what you're buying, that's all YOU can ask from them, too. In my opinion, for the cost they're a great value provided you know what you're buying.

Much nicer than I could have ever imagined. For my daughter its display only, but she loves them. She wanted a katana for birthday and I found these and thought they would work for now. Was shocked at how nice they were for the price. Display rack is a bit cheap and not that sturdy, but I’m not complaining for the price. The swords are excellent and beautiful. Great product.

Great product for its price, from what I had received, the tanto and wakizashi swords are absolutely awesome. However, the katana had some flaws. The sheath doesn't fit well, if you hold the sheath and tilt the sword, the sword will slip out (which a good sheath shouldn't). Maybe because of the transportation, the sheath of katana had a huge crack on it when it reached me.

These are perfect my fiance and I collect blades and I gave him these for his bday. He was initially upset thinking I spend a few hindred bucks on the set as it was so nice. I ended up having to tell him the price and he was BLOWN AWAY!!! SUPER fast delivery and worth WAY more then the price!!!

i was surprised of the gr8 looks and weight, best buy 4 the money of any japenese sword sets i've ever seen! would really make an excellent gift 4 any adult, but i think it is so realistic that it would depend on the child as a gift because it's a little sharp 4 a kids toy.

There are both good and not so great things about these swords. First, they look beautiful. The red marble look is fantastic, and really compliments the black handle. The red marble that shows through the stitching is also very sharp. The katana is not as long as my other katana, so that's my fault for not measuring how long the blade was. I am not going to slay ninjas with it (well, not likely anyway) so the reach isn't really that big a factor, just a small let down that I was not expecting. Two of my...what are they called, hand guards?...are not completely straight. They are bent on one side and another in a corner. Not really noticeable unless you really look down them, but it is noticeable. Maybe this is a product of hand crafted items, assuming these are, and there will always be imperfections? Or maybe they got banged into something, I don't know. The blades are also not as wide as my other katana, so when you wipe them out they are not as intimidating, but perhaps that is what a real katana is supposed to look like? I don't know. That was just a little disappointing. But, if you are just looking for a set that you can place on a mantle or a book shelf to increase the awesome in a room, these are very beautiful. They are not sharp per say, but I wouldn't label them as dull either. Word of advice, if you get these, buy some screws. The stand, while it was in good shape thought maybe a little thin, did not come with screws. The upright holders and the thick black brace you see in the photo lock into each other, but the lets and the thin black piece on the very bottom require screws to hold them all together. Without these, your swords will come crashing down.

This is a great set of swords, very nice weight that feels good in the hand. I've owned and held others that felt cheep and so flimsy I worried they would bend easily if miss handled. This set on the other hand has a great blade wonderful balance and stands up to even the much pricier set's and to top it off they look great on their display stand. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for either a nice display set, are a sturdy practice sword.
