This is my first Raspberry Pi, and it's a fun way to get into Linux. There is a learning curve, and this one is going to be used for a retropie build. So a 7-year-old is going to be using this, and one of my biggest concerns we're that he would drop/step on this when he was bouncing around playing games. With this case, I think he could jump up and down on it for half an hour, and the only issues I think would be how the HDMI/power plugs would survive, and that has nothing to do with how well this case was made. You could probably find a little All this stuff a little cheaper individually if you really hunted, but with it being my first build, having all the stuff that you need together and tested to work together, I'm very happy to have done it. Also, next time I think I will use a much bigger memory card and get an HDMI cable that ends in a female plug full size plug so it's easier to swap this out with the cables on my monitor vs having to plug directly into the monitor, I just swap it out with the cable plugged into my laptop. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

This thing is really high quality. I send these to my customers to use as print servers. They are very impressed with the case and the fan is quiet. I have one running all the time on my desk and i never notice it from a sound standpoint. No complaints and will continue to buy these.

Everything was in the package as advertised. Initially I was skeptical about performance, tried included pi software as a previous Linux user, wasn't impressed. Not many options, tried Ubuntu mate desktop for pi, that was worse. Went back to included raspberry pi 64 bit, not as good as Linux mint, but the little box does everything that I need it to do. Actually runs faster than my 64bit 8gig ram laptop. The only major drag is the time it takes to load external drives, once they do load it's off to the races. Would buy again. Can't wait for Mint to put out a pi version of their desktop

Built this for the Mrs. who wanted her "own" computer instead of sharing mine. As a PC replacement it works fine. Pre-loaded w/ the OS which includes Chrome and Libre Office, so there was literally nothing I had to do in order to get it working for her. Added to a 33" monitor, I zip-tied it to the monitor stand so the desk is *clean* - nothing but the keyboard cable on the desk! Metal case and heat sinks seem to keep it cool, and the fan has absolutely zero noise output at all. Definitely going to recommend this to my friends.

It was so easy to put together that my dad put it together when I was overseas when I bought it for him. We didn't use the cheap case that comes with it but got better one on amazon but still perfect for using it as a docker swarm node.

The SD card was missing and the SD card reader didn’t work. If my nephew hadn’t needed it for school it would have been returned. Unfortunately an SD card and reader had to be purchased separately.

CPU temp stays at about 40 Celsius when on the internet. Well put together case from the 3rd party seller. Definitely get it if you’re on the fence maybe hold off for a sale tho.
