Hanes Women's Wireless T-Shirt Bra, Comfy Support Lightweight Lounge Bra, Convertible Straps

Size 38DD and once I get home from work, we all know the bra comes off but I do t like to just freeball all evening and always put on a sports bra instead. Me and sports bras have never got along because I typically can’t find one that’s comfortable without making my chest into a uniboob! I apprehensively ordered a couple of these because why not? Price was right and returns are easy:) To my surprise, these are comfortable as heck! They do come in a bra fashion with straps and a hook back closure, two hooks wide. Softness is great, comfort is great, support is meh…I absolutely love these and wear them everyday in the being and in weekends. Would I wear them as an everyday? No, but I wear them every night and all weekend doing yard work, running to the grocery store, etc. I would be so fortunate to get to wear these allll the time everyday but this is not the “wear to work” bra as I need minimizing underwire torture devices to hold it all in;) However, they are a complete game changer in my world…just enough support to keep those babies in and look presentable as I want to on my personal time. Will be buying more as long as they are making them! I ordered the XX-Large.

My best bra for many years was made by Vanity Fair. No longer available, I tried Bali, Jockey, Spanx, Honey Love, Lululemon, a bunch of generic brands, and a couple of Hanes bras to try to find comfort and support like my old favorite. What am I looking for? Support with that next to nothing feel. No digging, binding, bunching or uniboob . No pulling the sides down because it rises up in back. No adjusting the bra in private because my ladies pop out the top. This Particular Hanes bra is genius. I’m a 42 DDD and perfectly fit the xxlarge. Many brands don’t even go above extra large. If you are built like me, want support, and do not want padded cups, underwires, bunching material under your armpits, straps that cut into your shoulders, or cross-crosses in a way that would challenge Houdini, a bra that rides up in the back or one that your breasts fall out of in the front (unless you tighten the band so tight that you cut off your circulation) this is the bra to buy. I hope to God that Hanes does not discontinue it. The front snap closure enables me to easily cross-cross the straps in back. The fabric is soft and breathes. The bra gives high enough in the sides so my breasts do not squeeze out into my armpits. The only thing I would change about this bra would be to make the straps more like my old fav- narrow, stretchy fabric, matching the fabric of the bra. My only criticism is that I would make the straps and inch longer to make it easier to cross the straps while wearing it, because the can be adjusted smaller, but it is still extremely comfortable and all bras end up stretching a bit. I will hand wash these and order extras to preserve them, because manufactures so often change their products and discontinue perfectly good models.

Two downsides, which other reviewers have mentioned: (1) there’s a clasp, for want of a better word, for holding the bra straps to the front of the bra. It’s a cheap snap-in design that tests basic physics principles. To my surprise, one of the straps has come apart on me only one time. The physics-defying clasp seems to work. Still, one time for a bra suddenly collapsing into a leaning tower of Pisa, is too much. You have to see this clasp to understand what I mean. Nonetheless, I find myself ordering another two bras, so I guess I’m not that disturbed. Truth is, I just can’t find a decent unpadded, wireless bra. (2) The fabric is light and nicely elastic. Overall, it’s quite comfortable. I only hand-wash and hang dry, so I haven’t put the bra through a more vigorous machine washing. However, the fabric pills very easily, a first in my experience for a bra. You end up with a lot of little dark fabric pills all over the bust part of the bra. This bra is not intended for use if you’re going to end up passed out in the hospital or in an unexpected romantic liaison. This is a bra you want to undo yourself, in privacy. OCTOBER 23, 2022: Hanes ... what have you done to my favorite bra? You made a major change in sizing without a word of warning! A Medium, which was perfect for my 36C size, is now more like a size 32A-. The cup is flat and the bra is much smaller, end to end, than it used to be. This was a major change! I bought 3 bras, taking for granted that the size was correct. By the time I used one of these now way-too-small bras, it was too late to return them. I lost over $40! Maybe some kid can use them as a slingshot. I just checked the Hanes Size Guide, and it appears that a 36C is now a Large (used to be Medium). I'm going to order Large, but to be honest, I have little confidence in this new size guide. I'm especially disappointed that I had to lose over $40 for trusting Hanes, but hopefully this review will help someone else! I left the 4 stars because I'm assuming the bra is still as good as it was when I first reviewed it about 3 years ago. OCTOBER 30, 2022: Zounds!! My premonition was on point. Hanes's new size guide is useless. I tried the Large, but it's still way too small. I can't seem to match my size 36C (previously Medium) with any of Hanes's new sizes! I've had to return the 3 size L bras too -- at least this size actually shows a cup. By the way, I've been ordering the white bra. For all we know, different bra color might = different pattern cutter! I've now ordered 3 size XL white bras. I'm annoyed as heck at Hanes for changing the measurements, but I must say I'm intrigued by my suddenly hefty bosom ... X-Large! NOVEMBER 22, 2022 I have finally confirmed that Hanes's old Medium is now X-Large (at least for the white bra)! The cup isn't quite as full/rounded as I'm used to on Hanes wireless unpadded bras, but it's passable. As I mentioned previously, I purchased the white wireless, unpadded bra. Perhaps the wide size deviation has to do with the color. Is the white bra cut much smaller than the beige (nude) bra? Or, has Hanes changed the sizing across all of these bras? I notice as well that there is no longer any pilling on the bra cup, which is a huge improvement.

Beware, the bra runs very small. I am 5'3", 135, a wide set B-cup, but with a larger ribcage and muscular shoulders/upper back (I'm an avid bicyclist), so typically I already size up to a large for these kinds of things. The large looked like the training bra I had when I was 12, I actually got a good laugh out of it. My boobs fit because the material there is very stretchy but the straps were way too short and the band was too tight. However, I did really like the material, it is very soft, lightly lined, and offers medium support. So, I returned the L and skipped right past the XL to the XXL which I will keep. Honestly, the cups didn't get much bigger which wasn't a problem for me at a B-cup, honestly that part fits perfectly, but if you're bigger than that it's going to be a tough squeeze. The band is stretchy and comfortable with room to spare, the XL band probably would have fit very well as well. Band doesn't fold up or dig in, and lasted comfortably through a 5-mile summer hike going at a moderate pace. The straps though, who are these made for?? Really didn't get much longer from size L, I got it to work obviously, but they seriously need to consider lengthening them, especially for the racer-back convertible feature of the bra which is one of the reasons I bought it. If you have any extra "cushion" on your shoulders or upper back it might be a tight fit.

First of all, I am 5' 7", 120lbs, and would be wearing a size 36 D bra normally. I wear size L in this brand and style. I could probably get away with XL as well, but M is uncomfortable for me. While I find this bra to provide plenty of support for my day to day, anyone with larger breasts might not. This is the most comfortable all day, everyday bra I have ever found, and I've tried just about all of them. Plus, it's pretty much the only bra I can wear without it causing back pain. Let me explain. I have been dealing with back and shoulder pain for years now, and one of the things I've struggled with is that the bands on most bras feel very painful regardless of size. Of course, something too small will be uncomfortable, but the correct band size and even too large sizes all cause my back to hurt where they make contact with the muscles of my back. They also make me feel as if I can't breath properly. It's very weird. I have been professionally fitted multiple times - which always ended up with me feeling like my time and money have been wasted as I still can't wear whatever sizes and styles they recommend - and I've worked with many physical therapists over the past decade trying to figure it out, but at this point I've given up hope that it'll ever get better. It is what it is. Awhile back I decided to give this bra style a try and, fortunately, found it to be exactly what I needed. Of the ones I've tried, this particular brand and style have been the most comfortable for me. Something about the narrower band, just the right amount of elasticity, and softness of the material means that I can get through a day without the (at times severe) pain that other bras cause. I've also found that the S/M/L/XL etc. sizing, adjustable straps, and back clasps work way better for me than the traditional band numbers and cup sizes. I've ordered several of these bras over the past 8 years. They have held up pretty well considering the fact that I wash them on regular wash and dry them on high heat. In other words, I don't treat them as delicates. So far it's been one of the metal clasps things on the back breaking off or the tab on the front connector for one of the straps snapping off that has caused me to replace the ones I've needed to replace, and that has typically only happened after more than a year of regular use. One more thing I'll mention, though. For some reason, the buff/light pink color is the most comfortable of the ones I've tried while the heather grey is the least comfy.

Finally a wireless bra that fits properly, has adjustable straps & hook/eye back closure! I wear a 38/40C with a wider rib cage but not broad shoulders; kind of a straight frame instead of curvy. I can’t stand pullovers that get rolled up, uni-boob, etc. LOVE that the material is stretchy with adjustable straps (if you too are a little uneven). This offers me a more customizable fit. It is also convertible. The straps stay on the shoulders thankfully! I find 99% similar looking wireless bras lack structure, straps can be too wide set & slip off constantly. Surprisingly nice lift for such a comfy bra too! No uni-boob look, good quality and stitching. The material is not thick nor padded yet discreet for my wardrobe. If you wear thin blouses & have nip issues maybe(?) you’ll need one of those discreet nipple things. I haven’t had any negative visibility issues. I tried a nauseating amount of bras over the past month & now happy. So affordable too. I’m buying 3 more for the price I used to pay for one of the more advertised brands. Hope they never discontinue. 5⭐️

So 5 stars because of the price and because the bra really doesn't show through my white scrub tops - oh, and it's super comfortable. I got the small, am a 33A. The band is wide and didn't pinch up any back-fat. I have worn it a bunch and have it on now. VERY comfortable but I do wish the band could be smaller. I have it on the smallest circumference. Still, nearly perfect. I wasn't expecting it to last long because the 'clips' that each bra strap attach to in the front which allow it to be changed to x-back style seem so minimal that they might just break, but they haven't! As another reviewed noted, the straps are definitely on the short side for crossing the back. I am quite long waisted and so most of my bra straps are set to the longest possible place. No exception for these. I have a slim tank top on right now, set the bra to the racerback version, and it fits fine. No especially obvious bulging underarm fat or anything. I do with the band could be smaller and the straps longer, but gosh - it's cheap and as close to perfect as a bra has been for me. If you need support, probably not the best bra. **oh yeah, the straps do stretch out a little after a few uses** When I first received the bra, I basically assumed I wouldn't be able to use it as a racerback because the straps seemed just a tad too short to cross in the back but after a week of wear and a wash, they were long enough. I have owned the bra for 2 months and worn it 4x a week for work. Buying another!

STYLE: If you're looking for a bra with minimal support, no padded cups and no wires, this is a good choice. The straps seem a bit short, as I have to adjust them all the way to the end to the longest position. It's comfortable and provides sufficient support for someone with small breasts. SIZE: I have a broad back and athletic build (145 lbs, 5'4"). I wear a small cup size (38A) so it's hard to find bras to fit, as most As end at size 36. I've been buying this same Hanes bra for years and have always worn a Medium and it's a perfect fit. However, This time I bought this bra in grey, size Medium but when the grey bra arrived it was way too tight, so I returned it and exchanged it for a Large grey and that one was also tighter than how the Medium tan alway fits but it fits good enough. (Note: my body has stayed the same size.) The code numbers on the inside of the tan and grey bras are all the same, but the materials are different: Tan bra - 64% Nylon, 30% Polyester, 6% Spandex Grey bra - 80% Nylon, 15% Polyester, 5% Spandex So maybe that changes the way the material stretches. Buy one size larger if you choose the grey material.
