There's a lot to like. A remarkable value, especially at this price.
UPDATE: Bought another two-pack acoupla months ago. Was surprised to find one unit is micro-USB port for recharging, and the other is USB-C. Not a problem, just odd. And the five stars remain! PROS: - There are two in the box; a great value at $26.99. - Each comes with a rechargeable 3.7V 1200 mAh Li-Ion 18650 battery (the “protected” kind - with button top). Again, a great value. - Can be recharged without removing the battery, using the included micro-USB cables. - Can also be powered by three AAAs, using the included adapter. - The threads of the aluminum housing and end cap which unscrews to remove the battery are well machined. - The aluminum housing feels substantial and has squarish, slightly raised bits at the switch and, on opposite side, at the micro-USB port; this prevents it from easily rolling off, say, a table. - The end cap incorporates a magnet strong enough to securely mount it on a vertical metal surface (see photo). - The pre-mounted pocket clip is secure yet simple to remove. - The push/pull of the lens forward and back to zoom between spot and flood is an easy, one-handed, thumb-and-index-finger operation. - Two light sources: out the end, and side-mounted chip-on-board (COB) worklight. - On/Off switch intuitively lights up green when in use, flashes red when charging, and goes static green when fully charged. - Pressing the On/Off switch once turns it On to Bright mode; repeat presses then cycle through the other three modes to Dim, COB, flashing SOS – and then Off. - When On in any mode, pressing and holding the On/Off switch for little more than one second immediately turns the thing Off, eliminating the need to cycle all the way through other modes before ending at Off. Brilliant. NOT REALLY CONS, but things I wish were different: - The included 18650 batteries are only 1200 mAh – about as low a current capacity as is made. I would prefer a higher capacity so that the battery can last longer before needing recharging. If/when these stop holding a charge, I’ll probably go with cost effective 2600 mAh or 3500 mAh batteries. - It seems the user manual was written in Chinese then poorly machine translated and not cleaned-up. A proper re-write would be helpful. - It boasts “2,000 lumens brightness.” I suspect that is not the case, but I question most flashlight lumen ratings out there. More useful would be to list candela rating. (The whole footcandles-lumens-candela-lux explanation is more than this review can handle.) However, my Streamlight Strion LED HL measure 615 lumens (the measurement of the total energy output from a source of light) and 12,000 candela (the measurement of how intense or focused a light output is). And it is far more powerful a light than these are. Nevertheless, these Hoxida flashlights are quite bright and are a great value.

Decent light for its size
I actually bought these because I wanted a pair of small rechargeable flashlights to keep in the cars for emergencies. I had also mistakenly gotten a pair of 18650 button top lithium batteries, so I was actually looking for flashlights using the 18650 format cells that specifically DIDN'T include the batteries and didn't have permanent batteries built in that can't be replaced. The description for these says they aren't included. When I received them, I actually discovered that they DID have 18650 batteries in them, however those included batteries don't have nearly the same capacity as the JESSY batteries I had. The included batteries are rated at 1200 mah, but the JESSY batteries I installed have 2.5x the capacity at 3000 mah. So it all worked out in the end. The flashlights themselves are a decent brightness considering their small size. I have much brighter flashlights, but those are also a lot bigger and not appropriate for a glove box. The side light is useful, and the magnet in the base is strong enough to keep it fixed to any flat steel surface. All in all they're good for their purpose, and if you need a longer life or the included batteries die, know that you can easily buy replacement batteries that actually give the flashlight a longer life.

Nice & sturdy, bright adjustable beam
UPDATE July 2023: Have been using the two flashlights regularly for 2+ years now. Leaving my original 5-star rating intact. Though, the rubber flap that protects the USB charging port on one of the flashlights broke off. A piece of tape now protects the port from dust and stuff, decent enough solution. Also, the battery on the most-used flashlight has dwindled a bit, not bad after 2 years of use and frequent recharging. I can get a replacement 18650 battery at the local hardware store for $10. Simple unscrew cap, remove, replace. Ding ding ding. One feature I especially appreciate is the adjustable beam / focus. It’s simple single hand operation, so using just your thumb you can adjust from close-up floodlight to long-distance spotlight, like 100+ yards. Very useful on the occasions I’ve been out at night looking for my cat after the little devil managed to squirt out the door. Just the other day I thought, maybe it’s time for a new flashlight. I looked at high priced models $80 to $120 only to find that adjustable beam is not available! I realized this pair of flashlights does everything I want very nicely, with ideal size and weight. A sound purchase. ORIGINAL: I've been happy with these over 11 months of use while camping and for household / garage use. I use one of the pair just about every day. The beam is impressively bright and casts a surprisingly long distance. The distance adjustability is very easy and valuable. That clever light on the side has been useful for hands-free operation in a few cases. They've proven durable with no problems. I dropped them once or twice but no damage. Nice and sturdy, and an ideal size. Recharge is easy via the USB port, which is protected by a rubber flap that seems a little flimsy and prone to breakage, but it's been fine. In my garage, the magnet at the end lets me hang a flashlight up from a small piece of steel I put in place just for that purpose. The flashlight will power off with a long press of the power button... I didn't realize that for a few months; if it was in the sparse instructions I missed it. Otherwise you click through 4 times to turn it off. The long press is a handy feature to note if you decide to buy these.

Order these lights for work. We have used similar lights in the past and the magnet and size are just awesome. Right out of the package we had some difficulty getting one of the batteries to charge. We swapped this battery between the light bases but could never get it to charge. I contacted the seller. Seller responded very quickly and offered to send a full replacement light at no charge. We however were able to throw this battery into an old light of similar make and it started charging. All three are working great now, so we no longer need a replacement. Wanted to be sure to leave a great review for Jamie! 10/10 customer service. Nice to know there's good people out there! Cheers.

Very good sturdy solid torch. Easy to Charge and very good light. Very disappointed with them not being waterproof. Had one clipped to the outside of the tent, pointing downwards. It rained, not very heavily but water built up inside the movable/extendable head piece until it filled up to reach the internal battery and shorted. The torch no longer works

24 hour update: Batteries are crap, may as well not include them. Flashing red after 30 seconds, dimming itself after 2 minutes flickering 3 minutes later. Wouldn't recommend unless you want an included 18650 that is unlabeled, unknown, and failed the manufacturers testing. AKA Don't Buy unless your also plan on buying 18650 cell(s). I charged these for over an hour yesterday till they BOTH went solid green. Weak magnet if used on any angles as it WILL fall. Besides straight up or straight upside down. Micro usb. Really?! This garbage connector.... 1 foot 8 inch long USB A to micro usb cable. Unknown 18650 battery, ZERO markings on it. So I'm expecting it to last a month then fail. Came mostly discharged. The button doesn't line up with the COB light so if your OCD stay away. (On both ordered lights) The micro usb connector port is almost blocked by the metal frame which seems like a safety hazard if it shorts across the frame. Zoom does work, little stiff to start moving which is fine. Expected size. Belt clip is nice but seems like an after thought. Quality seems fine besides the battery and USB. But I'll update the review if it dies.

Works great super bright and tough. Dropped mine off a moving train went back and it still worked and barely even a mark on it.
