OTTERBOX Defender Series Case for HTC One M9 - Retail Packaging - Causal Blue

I got the defender case for my new HTC One M9 and so far it's wonderful. As everyone else has stated, the built in screen protector is junk. It may work fine for some phones, but I had already ordered the G Glass screen protector. I tried the built in protector out but there was a small gap between it and the phone screen, so I took a razor blade and "popped" it out by sliding it all the way around and breaking it loose from the glue that held it to the gray hard case. I love the blue rubber case, it's great and my hand really grips it. I've dropped my phone MANY times since I put it in here and it has fared VERY well. I give this case 5 stars, it's just they really shouldn't add the built in screen protector unless you ask for it. I'd buy it again though, the blue case is very easy on the eyes. And for ~$5 you can't beat it. I had a problem with it being so cheap it was considered an "add-on item". They wouldn't let me order it unless I ordered at least $25 worth of other stuff. I find that ridiculous, I'd have been willing to pay extra shipping just to get the case by itself. I addressed this with Amazon and they gave me a $20 courtesy credit, so all is well. The seller was great, case came very quickly and have had no problems thus far. Great case!!!

Nice and sturdy case, has been working great so far, even though it is a bit bulky, it's worth it - protection is great, especially on the back and on the corners of the phone. Plastic screen gets messy, and sometimes does not relay input as well as it should, especially if you are driving with a mounted phone, and trying to access certain functions. That's the only place where this case lacks, but i'm still giving it 5 stars - where most battery cable protectors/ flaps(?) tend to fail and fall off overtime, this one has remained stubbornly rigid, and does not show any signs of wear and tear, despite being opened and closed at least few times daily. Will definitely buy this product for my future phones - currently I'm using HTC 9

The case works fine, but as others have said, the built in screen protector adds an annoyance when doing things like typing. If only this thing had come a day sooner, It would have saved my phone from a fall to the Pavement and major housing damage. On the plus side, the M9 still works after being ran over by a car WITHOUT THIS CASE.. beastly phone. I wish that Amazon used USPS, then it would still be traveling during the weekend and I could have recurved it the day before the fall.... Typing is very annoying with this case on though....

My HTC One M9 has survived exceptionally well due to this very product. I purchased the first one through vzw when I first got it. Dropped it about ~23 times. No damage has ever occurred. I loved it so much that I decided I needed another. (2 other cases I bought didn't last and broke easily) The Defender case is the only case I'll ever buy from now on for any of my devices. Pair this with a tempered glass and you have zero worries. Thankyou Otterbox for these amazing products. After a year or so, the rubber gets loose from so much opening and closing the flap foe the charger and headphones. I believe this somewhat weakens it and eventually that corner breaks. I've gone through three colors on the Defender series for my HTC ONE M9. Currently sporting the grey and white version. Yes. I still use one. It'll be 4 years of hard use in April of 2019. Works just as it should now, and it should survive until then. These cases have allowed me to not worry about accidental drops. Once I do eventually get another phone, and I know I've said this before, I'll buy an Otterbox case for it as well. Update: 06/01/2020 I still have the HTC One M9. Just bought a new case for it again. 4th or 5th otterbox I've had for it. Every time it's a better price. Aha! Totally worth the investment.

Brought this case for a Samsung Galaxy 6s Edge...perfect fit with a great price and I can actually can manage to hold onto it. :) My brother gave his old Edge phone after my HTC died on me (boot loop issue and nothing suggested has worked). Great phone, but it is slippery as heck. A quick search on amazon for a case and decided on this one. It fits the bill for me with no complaints.

I have used otterbox for years, this case is better than all my previous cases. I got the melon colored case so I can see it when I laid it down and forgot where. That works well. It is not as dark as the picture when ordering. It is more of a pepto bismal pink. The black clip that came with it to attach the phone to my hip is very sturdy. I use it when I go out in public or I am working outside.

The Defender case fits my M9 very well and does a good job of working around the new button layout of the M9 versus the M8. Doesn't block the IR blaster, camera or anything else. I like the new slightly firmer rubber in the M9 case versus the older M8 case. The hard part of the case which has a belt clip is good for fully protecting the face of the phone, such as during camping or throwing it in a backpack. The "Causal Blue" color is a nice change from black and is a pleasant conservative blue without being flashy or weird. Similar to a Cadet Blue, which has a touch of gray. I think the color will age well. I'm using the clear plastic screen cover for now, but if it gets scuffed, then I'll just remove it and put one of the tough glass covers directly on the phone.

This case will protect your phone in any situation especially when it falls

Ich hatte schon einige Schutzhüllen für verschiedene Smartphones. Ich muss wirklich sagen, Otterbox ist der absolute Hammer. Was besseres gibt es meiner Meinung nach nicht.

This two piece phone case and carrying shell with clip/stand is rugged and dependable. I work in the construction industry and regularly subject my phone and this case to abuse greater than the manufacturer ever intended. This is my second otterbox defender series case. This product line has effectively protected both my current and past phone from hard drops on to concrete from the top of eight foot ladders, off of scissor lifts, and out of many ceilings. The carrying case serves as a secondary, external armour for your screen and the clip on the back is great for keeping it attached to hi-viz vest pockets. The stand feature of the clip can be used for watching videos while the device is on a table. The built-in screen protector is okay and does not hinder the function of the screen too badly. Personally, I chose to remove it in favour of a glass screen protector, which has a faster response time. To save your charging port stress, use a rolled up piece of card or something to prop the rubber port cover open. I found that over a long period of time, it loosened the connection between the charging cable and the phone. If that is too much hassle for you, just cut it off at the flex point and be rid of it. This case has saved my phone hundreds of times from certain destruction, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Otterbox es una gran marca que cuida mucho los detalles de sus artículos, este estuche no es la excepción, está construido en materiales de muy buena resistencia y de buena estética. El clip que incluye lo convierte en un accesorio muy práctico, en mi caso, uso el celular para ver videos y con el clip puedo colocar el teléfono en una posición en la que es cómoda la vista. Recomiendo mucho este protector!
