The blanket is extremely soft. It's perfect for my one year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves it. I ordered the smaller size so she could drag it around. The teddy bear pattern is adorable. Really soft and the perfect size for a baby shower gift. Although I was wanting to embroider the babies name on it, and trying to figure out how I can get that done and make it not obvious on the other side so it will look good. Not sure how I’m going to do that but I’ll be creative somehow and make it work
