Stops my cold sores/shingles outbreaks before they start
This stuff and a few Lysine right when I start to feel the tingling of what I've known my whole life to be a precursor to a cold sore and now shingles outbreak... and I don't EVER get a full blown outbreak anymore. Miraculous.

Excellent for shingles
My Chinese medicine doc recommended this for shingles and it was was very helpful. I also took western anti virals for 6 days, but continued taking this at same time and for quite a while after. I also did acupuncture.

Lifesaver!
These little tea pills were the only pain relieving pills I could tolerate (I am hyper sensitive to any type of medication) for Shingles! They were a lifesaver! On my worst days it would take a little longer to work, but I found if I took 4 pills and an hour later took 4 more it helped, rather than 8 at a time. 8 at a time made me very sleepy.

Have used this product for a long while for my now 14 year old cat who used to have seizures. Combined with Cataplex G by Standard Process and Di Tan Tang capsules, he is seizure free !!! AT 4 my former Vet wanted to put him down because at that time he was taking a compound pharmaceutical and was unable to metabolize it. I changed to a holistic Vet, who used Chinese Herbs, acupuncture and a high end diet to reverse the epilepsy.

Best herb to stop shingles!
I've suffered with Shingles since having chicken pox at 21 at the same time I damaged my sciatic nerve in a car accident. I've tried EVERYTHING natural that exists (I also tried the drug, this is 100% more effective). This herb is the best thing I've ever found! I've also tried other name brands of the same herb, but this tends to work much quicker. It literally will stop any outbreak almost immediately.

Got Stomach Fire?
I have had trouble with cold sore breakouts the last two years. I read this formula was for stomach fire and as it is hard to get to an acupuncturist where I live, I bought this to help prevent the sores coming out down during flare ups, as I work to rebuild my immune system.

Not sure if this did anything for my shingles but it didn't hurt
Not sure how to rate this as I took it in conjunction with prescription Western medication and it is hard to say which medication did what, but my shingles cleared up very quickly, especially the nerve pain. For anyone considering adding this to prescription medication, at worst it didn't make things worse or cause any side effects, and I think it may have sped things along.
