Wow! The diffuser on this is amazing! I'm not sure why a few other reviewers are complaining about it not drying hair. No, there isn't air flowing out the back of the diffuser very much. But it doesn't matter. It dries your hair fantastically, leaving your curls well defined! It also dries hair quickly - with or without the diffuser. My only complaint is that on high heat, it doesn't take long for the diffuser to get too hot to touch so you can't remove the diffuser immediately after using it. It's been doing a great job for several months so far and seems like it will last many years. It isn't any louder than a typical hair drier and I appreciate having different heat and fan speed levels instead of combining them into one switch. It also has a cold shot button. Having a hanging loop is also handy since I have a hook on the side of my sink to hang it on. The hairdryer itself is reasonably small but the diffuser isn't so it's not a great travel hair dyer so keep that in mind if that's important to you. Although without the diffuser, it's small enough that I would travel with it. For curly or straight hair - this hair dyer is a winner due to the different heat and speed levels, how quickly it dries your hair and how well it works for curly hair.

I have long (almost to my tailbone) curly 3C hair. I start drying on Medium heat, Low airflow for 5 minutes then switch to Low heat and leave it on the Low airflow setting throughout. I always use the diffuser. The size of the diffuser and the depth of the bowl are perfect for root lift on long hair, body, and beautiful spiral curls with little to no frizz. A flat bowl diffuser is not good for root lift and crushes my hair removing body. The other unique feature of this diffuser is that the back is completely open allowing for great airflow throughout, which makes for fast drying time and is even better to preserve curls. Other diffusers have a solid closed back with no air flowing through. On the low setting, it takes about 35 minutes to dry my hair and set the curls. I've had this dryer for about 3 years now and can say it continues to work very well and gives me beautiful, frizz-free, curly hair for days. I use Shea Moisture Leave-In (there are many to choose from, depending on your hair needs), curl cream, and a small amount of strong hold gel. I hope they continue to make this dryer so when this one wears out, I can buy another one. This is an excellent dryer at a great price and the results are better than what I get from the Dyson used at my salon (the Dyson has a flat bowl diffuser and a closed back preventing airflow).

This is THE BEST hairdryer/diffuser I've found for curly hair! I love it SO much that I bought it three times! *Let's talk about why I love it: If you have curly hair, you know that a diffuser is supposed to block out the wind so there is no frizz and only the heat is supposed to dry your curls. I tried SO many hairdryers with diffusers looking for a combo that blocks the wind completely, but so many do not. I even bought separate diffusers to add on to my hairdyer. They didnt do the trick! My hair just ended up looking like a bird's nest instead of pretty, shiny, defined curls. But this one does just that! It completely blocks the wind and all you get is the heat released through the diffuser. Lets talk about why I dont like it...The first one I bought lasted me years, but I dropped it, a piece of the barrel chipped off and the diffuser wouldn't stay on any longer. So I bought another. I had it about 3 months, and I dropped it, again yesterday. This morning I went to diffuse my curls and nothing. Broken, again! I guess hitting the bathroom floor was enough to break it. So I bought my third one. Honestly, the hairdryer is too good to not buy again!

The hair dryer is a little heavy but it is a fantastic, quality hair dryer. The diffuser is larger than most and it dries my hair in half the time of my old dryer. My daughter has super thick hair and it dried her hair pretty fast as well. The diffuser does get pretty hot to the touch but it works very well. It is very easy to switch from hot to cool. The color and quality make you feel like you are using a super expensive dryer!

Best hair dryer and super-best diffuser for wavy and curly hair! The deep and wide design of the diffuser results in beautifully defined waves and curls. The three fan levels and three temperatures give great control. I just bought a replacement after 7 years with the former one. Happy to buy the same hair dryer again. One wish (if Conair is reading) would be for the diffuser to attach more securely - sometimes it does fall off. But, will reiterate that I love this dryer!

I have 2a-2b waves in my hair and have always dreaded washing my hair in the mornings because when I let it air dry...all I get is puff and inconsistent waves that are uncontrollable. I just look like one big poofy mess. I have bought other hair dryers before with diffusers but they were always expensive or the diffuser itself didn't hold that much hair. Enter the conair texture hairdryer...my god thing thing was a game changer for me!! There's honestly not much I can complain about given that the price is amazing, the results were amazing, the diffuser is generously sized and the heat and results were impressive. I am so glad I didn't blow another $150 for those fancy so called salon hair-dryers! I liked the fact that it had a good amount of settings so that I could keep adjusting as needed. My hair dried quick and not frizzy...I mean what else can you ask for?? If I had to be nit picky about anything, it would probably be the location of the buttons on the handle...when I did grab too hard, I did accidently press on the buttons and changed the settings unintentionally but it's such a miniscule problem that it doesn't even bother me. Great value for the money and Highly recommend!

You are selling this item in the Netherlands Amazon and it is a 120voltage item that does not work in Europe. And yet you have not a single warning of this on your description. They include an adapter for the plug, but this adapter does not change the voltage, if you use it, you burn the dryer. This is an absolute scam

I absolutely love this hair dryer and have bought it multiple times to keep at different places—just to avoid traveling with it! That’s how much I love it. The diffuser and concentrator attachments are fantastic and make it super versatile for all kinds of styling. It works wonderfully, dries my hair quickly, and leaves it with minimal frizz. Truly a great tool for everyday use—I can’t recommend it enough!
