Great looking, quick to boil, holds heat well
Very impressed with this kettle. Had it around a month now and have no issues with it. It's quick to boil, holds heat well and looks great. I'm working from home at the moment, I'll fill it for a brew first thing in the morning. By about 10/11am when I'm ready for my next cuppa it'll still be at around 60-70° which means it takes seconds to come back up to temperature. It holds 4 cups so lasts through the day like this. The handle is nice and chunky and feels well balanced, the big lever on top allows you to pour the perfect amount of water. While the pour itself isn't great, it splashes a little, it is understandable as the kettle lid is like the lid of a flask. The lever opens a slot in the lid to allow the water to pour.

Great kettle, cool to the touch, even at 100 degrees.
This is a really great kettle. It is a little on the heavy side and can be difficult to pour as you need to hold down the opener on the top to be able to pour. This doesn't sound that much of a problem, and for most I don't think it would be, but if you're older or have problems with rheumatism it could be tricky. It also takes a little time to pour, so you can get a steamed thumb. It gets water up to your chosen temperature really quickly and the side of the kettle is almost as cool as when you started with the cold water, so it is really safe to touch - even if the water is boiled to 100 degrees. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Great kettle!
I needed a new kettle as my previous adjustable temp one had stopped working. I wanted something similar. This one intrigued me, as it claimed to keep water hot for longer thanks to its insulated body. I love it! It does exactly what it claims. And is perfect for my needs. Why didn’t I give it 5 stars overall. A few of things to consider. 1. Weight - it is a heavy pot when filled with water. I had thought it might be good to buy one for my elderly mum, but on second thought, it’s not.. 2. Filling - this kettle takes enough water for 4 cups only. Enough for my needs, but it is tough to figure out from the indicator inside the kettle when I have reached the Max. The base unit tells you, and you will have to empty out a little water before it will switch on. 3. Pouring - for the first few cups it’s fine. Getting that last cup out is awkward. You practically have to tilt it upside down! And don’t ever thing of pouring without the lid, far too much steam coming out. Would I buy this again in future, yes! I am happy overall even with the above notes.

POOR POUR
Keeps water hot very effectively but at the expense of very poor spout action. It splutters and splashes when pouring. Shame, good quality kettle otherwise.

Smart small kettle
Stylish, simple controls and eco-friendly. Love the burnished red colour. Body is insulated so water stays warm for longer. The downside is that this reduces the capacity and it only boils one litre at a time, less good when big volumes required for cooking. But for all your cuppa needs, it’s great.

They have got the design seriously wrong.
The kettle is unsafe, if not dangerous. The kettle is a flask design and it curves at the top with a lip. This means that, before the pouring spout, there is that lip. When the kettle is emptying it must be stopped by this lip, so that you have to actually tip the kettle upside down to pour the water out. This then burns you. You cannot get much water out of the kettle without turning it entirely upside down. I cannot find any other way. When you return the kettle to the standing position, the water has seeped though the catch and burns you again. Because of this catch on the back, which you have to press to get the water out, when you press it, the water simply leaks through. Even when you don’t tip the kettle fully up. Whoever has designed this kettle has got it seriously wrong.

A must have
Absolutely glad I bought this product.does as it says and safety is paramount. It can't be overfilled as it wont start. You have to press the top to be able to pour and the different temperatures make your drink just right.

It’s safe, smart and stylish!
I purchased the Reddikettle for my elderly mother. The fact that I know she can never burn herself against it, also that it won’t ever turn on if she doesn’t put in enough water is a comfort. Also that it keeps the water heated helps save her money.
