Kitten Chow, 3.15-Pound

I’ve been feeding my kitten Purina Kitten Chow for the past few months, and the results have been fantastic. She absolutely loves the taste—mealtime is her favorite part of the day! The kibble is the perfect size for tiny mouths, and it’s packed with high-quality protein from real chicken, which has helped her build lean muscle and stay active. I especially appreciate that it includes DHA for brain and vision development, and essential nutrients similar to those found in mother’s milk. My kittens really go crazy over this dry food! It must taste really good because they always eat this first and then their other dry food. I use 3 different kinds of brands and just layer them in the dish and this one goes on top since this is the one they want the most. They are very healthy and got an A+ from the Vet so I will continue to purchase this brand for as long as they are kittens and can move onto the adult dry food. Their coat is healthy and shinny so this food must be helping them grow into fabulous adults! The dry food itself is small and that is just perfect for my babies. It has a pleasant smell because some brands have a fowl smell and the nibbles are just too big. I would recommend this food to my fellow kitten parents!

Our kitten was weaned by the breeder on this and we continued feeding it to her. She is thriving and enjoys it. For some reason our kitty turns her nose up at canned cat food or people food - like fresh tuna and salmon so I’m very glad this is formulated to help her grow according to our vet’s expectations. Her fur is so very soft.

My foster cat (no teeth) and foster kittens love this. Excellent for their little tummies. Excellent price too. Pieces are small and perfect.

My kittens loved this. I couldn't get them to eat wet food when I first got them but this seems to have a decent nutritional balance and they definitely enjoyed the flavor and texture. Good for picky kittens who need a little extra nutrition to grow.

I must have lost my mind when I purchased this. I "thought" I was getting a big bag for the price, instead I got this teeny bag. Guess I didn't look carefully enough. Before I received the Amazon bag, I ran out of kitten food. I headed to my local "Bullseye" store to pick up a little bag to tide me over until the big bag came from Amazon. Imagine my surprise when I saw the little Amazon package on my doorstep. Then imagine my chagrin when I realized that the Amazon price was three times what I paid for the exact same thing the day before at the "Bullseye" store. The product is decent cat food. I foster kittens for a local shelter and go through a lot of kitten food. Although the shelter supplies food, I usually buy it myself as all shelters run on shoe string budgets. Purina is a happy compromise between generic store-brand food (who knows what's in it) and premium cat food (too expensive for this purpose). I'd recommend the food, JUST BUY LOCALLY.

I would like to see the price go down a little more, but my kitten loves this food!
