After about 20 years of indoor gardening, I tried just about everything under the sun when it comes to growing, and Hygrozyme is one product that stands out—this isn’t snake oil. Whether you’re running an Ebb & Flow system with clay pebbles or dealing with high summer temperatures in your reservoir, Hygrozyme is a game-changer. I used to rely on hydrogen peroxide, but after switching to Hygrozyme, I noticed a major difference. It’s cleaner and more effective, and I genuinely feel it does a better job. You definitely get what you pay for with this product—it won’t perform miracles, but if your system is already in good shape, this will take it to the next level. I use it every time I change out my nutrient solution. It helps the roots stay vibrant, healthy and white. One thing I always worry about when ordering nutrients online is the condition of the product upon arrival. With Hygrozyme, I was relieved to find the bottle was sealed properly, and the contents were fresh—not expired—showing that the seller takes quality seriously. While I’ve heard it’s effective for Root Rot, I haven’t experienced that issue myself, so I can’t speak to that, but if you’re looking to keep your roots in top shape, I highly recommend giving it a try. Hygrozyme is one product I’m confident recommending—it’s worth every penny. As noted, the batch was fresh and had a couple years before expiration date.

Hydrozyme makes some good products. Really like using hydrozyme to keep roots clean and healthy and Orca to make roots. The 2 work very very well with each other and highly recommend for hydroponics systems. 1 tell13day into flowering.

After a decade of indoor gardening you get a good idea for which nutrients and supplements are worth the money and which are not. Hygrozyme is on my personal list of stuff that's worth it. Especially if you're running a Deep Water Culture system and/or find yourself in a summertime project where you can't keep your reservoir temperature as low as you'd like. My main use for Hygrozyme is preventative- I add it every time I change the solution in a reservoir. It helps to keep the root cuticle shedding and keeps roots bright, white and very healthy. I can stretch my reservoir changes out by another one or two weeks with no problems and I believe Hygrozyme has a lot to do with that. I understand Hygrozyme can be helpful when dealing with Root Rot but I haven't had to deal with Root Rot so I wouldn't know. PS: To help prevent root rot keep your reservoir cool (under 78F if you can) and make sure you are aerating your nutrient solution!

good shiz, bleaches leaves, don't use a foliar, just for roots and cleaning, overpriced as fudge

Works great in my hydro res to keep things clean...haven't emptied and cleaned in over a year.
