Nothing on it that would make me think one way or the other. Definitely does not smell like bacon, but it very well could be from old dinosaurs. I don’t believe mine is vegan, simply because I use it to write our menu on a chalk board, and most of the time that menu isn’t not intact vegan, But you might be able to purchase it and change the mind of the one you receive

Some are saying it doesn't come off and others are saying it does. I want a chalk pen that only comes off when I wipe it not just touch the label.

he people who say they aren't erasable used them on a surface they painted with chalkboard paint. They will not erase from that surface. They are only erasable on non-porous surfaces, as stated in the product description, such as real chalkboards, white boards, glass, and mirrors. I erase my chalkboard with a damp dish towel. It comes clean every time. The colors are vibrant and stay put when dry. I change my board once a week but only because I'm changing the theme. The chalk still looks like the day I put it there when I erase it. Once it's dry, I can pass my hand over it and it doesn't come off

I need this as a marker for where to cut clothing. Is this washable?
