Performance Tool W54285 DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Rotary Barrel Pump for 55 Gallon Drums

Looks kinda funny( cheap ) but is surprisingly tougher than I expected.

We are past the return window on this product, but after we got our 55 gallon drum of fuel and tried to pump it from the drum, the handle on this pump broke. It's no longer returnable but I am so disappointed in the performance and the cost I could scream.

This sucks, which is what it is supposed to do, so yay!

Putting together by hand cracked top section by pump handle by flapper , then attached to barrel tightened the set screw by hand with screw driver it stripped out. Had to make modifications to get it to work. Poor quality but needed pump with check valve or flap.

This works wonderfully! Only issue is we had to use a cooper pipe above the barrel to stabilize the exposed plastic pipe as it stuck out too far above 55gal barrel when in use. It moved and flexed to much when I’m use. So we ran the plastic down pipe through the copper pipe. If we took out 3rd link of down pipe it didn’t reach far enough down to get the last maybe 4th or barrel.

I have been using this pump for diesel exhaust fluid on a 55 gallon drum.I like it. I had a cheap harbor freight one prior. It was metal and broke after 4 months. It also got all clogged up from the def. this plastic one is perfect. No problems so far.

Bought this in September of 25 - broke during assembly due to brittle plastic and poor instructions. They did offer to repair unit which was a pain but we were able to install and use the pump after that. It just broke again, plastic snapped below the pump body. We only made it about halfway through the first barrel.
