Patience is required to get a great result
My wife bought this for me as an early Christmas present. We love how it looks in our kitchen and it does a good job of popping the corn. To clean out the kettle of anything stuck inside, my wife placed a bowl underneath, then tilted the popper and wiped out the inside with a slightly damp paper towel. This way there won’t be anything inside to burn when you preheat the popper for the next batch of popcorn. Putting it together is another story. I have never seen directions that are so poor or lacking in detail. I will offer a few of my suggestions. First remove the kettle from inside the main unit. Kettle is packed in Styrofoam. Only way to get the kettle out is to pull the kettle straight up and out of the Styrofoam. It is tight. You really have to pull. The Styrofoam can now be titled and taken out. Wipe out the inside of the main unit and the kettle itself. Assembly: Inside the box are 2 basic wrenches and 1 quality screwdriver for assembly. Be aware that the two washers, nuts and screws will be fastened together in the package for the handle. They are not separate pieces to find. You will have extra #4 screws. In Step 1 the bottom plate is solid and the flat side will face up. The top cover has two pieces. Once the top cover is screwed on the other piece snaps in place. During this step I tilted the Compartment G on its side to make it easier to find the holes in the cover plates. The screwdriver supplied will work but it's a tight fit and the screws are very small so it's easier to tilt it on its side to find the holes and put the screws in. Also realize that you have to apply pressure to put the screws in. Some screws will not work so I believe that is why you get extra. In Step 3 make sure the edges of the outside of the door are over compartment G before you fasten the door at the top and bottom with screws. In Step 4 make sure the bar is attached to the inside of the wheel. In Step 4 find the end of the support bar with the small hole and slide it over the push pin on the rod that is now attached to the wheel. In Step 9 it will take 2 people to slide the assembled storage compartment G over the 4 rods. Push it all the way down until the support bars touch the top cover plate. Place the main unit on top of the storage compartment and then flip the 2 spring loaded rods underneath the main unit and it will 'lock' into place. After you plug the electric cord to the kettle it is easier to place the kettle inside the unit by tilting it and placing the left side in its slot first. Attach the crank handle knowing that the handle is screwed in counterclockwise. There is a push button on the door to the main compartment. To keep the front fold out door closed you must push it in first and then close the main door. Finally you are ready to enjoy your popcorn.

Be prepared to sit down a little while and put it together
First, I must say I’ve been wanting one of these so long I said you know what let me just go ahead and buy it. It was a must have for my movie room. I was very excited. It’s very nice. I mean we’re gonna have amazing fun I must add and until you all the final truth, though it was a lot to put together. I’m one of those ones. I’d rather look at a picture than instructions because sometime instructions confuse me so if your person like me, the instructions may confuse you, but on top of all of that, it’s really great. It took me a while to figure out everything though but hey, I love it. Check out from the video how needed it is thanks Hope this review helps you.

Pretty Good Machine for A Party or Movie Night
As many people have already stated the instructions are atrocious. What I mean by this is it'll tell you to only use half the screws and then leave you guessing where the rest go. There are enough holes if you've got common sense to figure it out, but it's frustrating. I was also having issues with the box part that holds the kernals falling in the back, and the base that goes around to prop up the popping part snapped, but it still works with the parts I have left. The actual popping: it works well, the popcorn pops and I haven't had issues with burning. I will say that if you do not heat up the machine each time before starting to pop, you will NOT get any popped corn, even if you leave it on for an hour. I think this is the issue that a lot of people are having because it doesn't really say you need to heat it up in the main instructions, but in the building instructions. I think people are forgetting to preheat it and saying it doesn't work. Make sure that you buy a good oil/popcorn salt or the popcorn will be really bland. It took a while for us to find one we like, but we finally settled with the actual Nostalgia set. I think that the set is slightly too big for the machine, however, so you may have to split it up or you will end up with kernals that pop out with the corn before they get a chance to turn into popcorn themselves. Overall, it's not enough of an issue that I care, but some people might.

Love it!
This was a great Father’s Day gift! It’s easy to use and there’s nothing like fresh popcorn! It’s easy to move around and was easy to put together.

This product is ridiculous
I purchased this for my daughter who has wanted a popcorn cart for years. I was so excited to give it to her for her birthday. It took over an hour to put together because the instructions were so blurred you could not make out the pictures that went with the directions. The printed directions referred to part labels, but none of the parts were labeled. It was so difficult to put together. You are pretty much on your own to figure it out. When we did finally manage to get it assembled it did not square up, it lilted to the right and was so top heavy you had to worry that it would fall over during the actual popping. The parts of the machine are so cheaply made. You can barely get your hand in to the metal oil container where you put the kernels to pop. So, since you cannot submerge in water, you cannot get it cleaned easily and thoroughly at all. We were going to try it out this afternoon even with all of our frustrations with the actual put together product. I took it by the cart handle and lifted the legs about an inch off of the floor so that I could roll it over to the tiled floor in the kitchen. The top almost fell right off. The legs of the top container came out of the holes in the base and we had to fight with it once again to get it back together. I do not usually write reviews for products, but with this item and the amount of money I paid for this product, I felt I would be remiss if I didn't not share my findings. I am so sorry to say, but I would definitely not recommend this popcorn cart to anyone.

50/50 on this one.
I purchased this about a month ago. I’ve use it about 4 or 5 times. Along with this I purchased the premeasured 2.5oz popcorn and oil packet for this size kettle. The popcorn is delicious. And the amount that little packet pops is great. Because of the small size and my big hands it’s a little tough for me to get the popcorn and oil into the kettle but I’ve learned to adapt around that and make it work. After all, it’s not the company’s fault my hands are big. I have a couple of complaints on the product. Minor issues. 1) It took forever to put this together. I’m very good with instructions and can put most anything together. There was one piece that wasn’t mentioned in the instructions. Luckily it was a piece that was placed at the very end and I was able to figure it out. It’s a plastic rectangular piece that just fits on the bottom of the machine between it and the stand. 2) The top piece mounts to the stand with a couple of spring loaded levers to hold it on the stand. There’s really no instruction on how to maneuver those and make them work properly. And 3) The threaded hole that the kettle handle screws into, broke. So, now I have to superglue the handle in that hole and it will just have to stay there forever. I’ll figure something out later when it comes time to clean it. And no, I was not rough with it at any time. It’s not a bad little product. A little pricey, I think, for what you’re getting. I almost wonder if it might have been better to buy a bigger popcorn maker that just sits on a counter somewhere. In fact, if you’re looking at this machine for a game room or theater room, pay more and do just that. Get a bigger popcorn maker without the stand and just put it on a counter.

Great little machine
Smaller than I expected, but it works great. 1 batch of popcorn is enough for 2 people. Highly recommend using coconut oil in the machine for that theater taste. Was fairly simple to put together and it is not super difficult to clean.

You should get one of these.
looks cool makes good popcorn with no hassle kind of forces me to eat popcorn without salt and butter which is healthier what more could you ask for in a popcorn maker instructions written in tiny print with tiny illustrations - not so good for an old boy like me lots of tiny screws involved in putting it together but patience paid off I would definitely recommend this popcorn maker.
