Perfect replacement for the one I broke. Obviously, if you want a full vacuum/siphon coffee maker, buy the complete Yama 8-cup maker. But if you're stupid, as I am, and break the top part, get this! (Hint: Instead of using the Yama cloth filters or the stainless steel replacement filter assembly, go find a Cory glass filter rod. Makes great coffee and easier to clean.)

This is a very high quality. The handle was quite loose when it arrived. Luckily I had a screwdriver that fit and tightened it up.

While this siphon makes my favorite cup of coffee, it's not worth how often I've had to replace parts because of the glass breaking. Since my original purchase in July I've had two of the glasses shatter. I have searched for a way to reach out to the company but I don't see anywhere to do so. Love the coffee but this is getting expensive.

It's works great. The price was good. It's identical to the original.

What a great concept for brewing coffee and tea, however the tops are pretty fragile. Thankfully replacements beakers are available.Thanks from Chicago

The tip of the beaker broke off for no apparent reason so unit would not uplift the water totallyExpensive to replace
