& Essentials Protein & Greens Powder, Unflavored

We love this powder! It has a very smooth, not green taste! I am a very picky eater. I have to force most anything green down. My 3 year old is a bit better than I am, but she will pull anything that looks black or green out of her food (spices, kale, spinach, etc) She and I will eat broccoli, and peas (if they are mixed into food). This Green Powder is the exception! We call it the "Magic Drink". We mix it into smoothies, or simply with orange juice. She loves to add the powder to the juice and stir in the magic to watch it turn green, I follow with a shaker and we shake up the rest of the magic! I only give her 1/2 scoop in the orange juice, because the energy from this makes her quite energetic and chatty. I only give it to her in the morning for this reason. I wasn't sure at first if all of that energy was coming from the juice or the powder ( I normally dilute her juice) so we gave her pure juice without the powder and it was quite noticeable with and without, the powder is the winner! I haven't taken the full recommended serving size for myself as of yet (2 scoops) because she always wants to drink mine and I feel it would be too much for her. Besides the smooth taste, I was most surprised and pleased with the ingredients. I was not expecting to see the ingredients list contain Organic Greens .... It does not say that on the front label. ORGANIC WHEAT GRASS, ORGANIC EGYPTIAN WHEAT GRASS, ORGANIC ALFALFA GREENS, ORGANIC BARLEY GRASS, ORGANIC OAT GRASS, ORGANIC SPIRULINA, PESTICIDE FREE CHLORELLA, ORGANIC SPINACH, ORGANIC BROCCOLI SPROUT, ORGANIC PARSLEY, ORGANIC KALE, ORGANIC TOMATO, ORGANIC FRUITS ..... STRAWBERRY, RASPBERRY, BLUEBERRY, TART CHERRY, POMEGRANATE, & CRANBERRY. Pea protein isolate (NON GMO) 24g. The sugar content was much lower than I expected at only 2 g per serving! Sodium 31mg, Protein 22g, fiber 1g. The best smoothie so far was made with 1 full scoop of powder, coconut milk (vanilla), frozen pineapples, frozen bananas, frozen cherries, & stevia in the raw! BTW .... my little one walked up while I was writing this review and saw the photo of the Protein Greens and exclaimed "That's our Magic Powder!" ..... needless to say, this is a winner in our house!

I really like this stuff. Yes it does have that health food/grassy/hay taste but it is really masked with some cocoa powder or peanut butter. Other fruits and veggies cover it decently but you can still detect it. It's not unpleasant, just different. The powder is unsweetened. Tons of nutrients packed into such a small amount of powder is shocking to me. I make it in smoothies if I'm doing the full two scoops. If I'm eating yogurt I'll sprinkle a bit in just for the boost. I was turned on to this product from one of my friends that it helped while she was sick with cancer. She barely could eat and this helped get necessary nutrients in and it didn't bother her stomach. I'm vegan so finding something vegan friendly and I have good results is a big win!

I love this product..It seems to have it "all". I started using it 3 and half years ago, when I had cancer and decided to do "alternative" treatments. This protein and greens powder not only helped me get in more greens and vegetables for the nutrition, grasses to keep my body more alkaline... but also contained some things I was looking for to boost my immune system like the beta glucan mushrooms, and some herbal adaptogens I had been researching for health purposes. Throw in high amino acids with the protein content..antioxidants,probiotics, the healing power of ginger, herbs for liver detox..etc etc ..I really could go on and on...it makes me feel like I'm treating my body well. It just tastes "green"..I throw in a Grannysmith apple and a handful of kale and blend it up.. You could make whatever "green drink " you would want with it...I have never spoken to, not have I ever gotten anything free from this company. I truly love this product.

I did a lot of research to find this product. It has the healthiest combination of ingredients. I was looking for a protein powder that I can take in the morning and after workouts and it has proven to boost my energy and great for post workout to help build muscle. I like to put ACV in it in the morning.I did have to get used to the taste but honestly it isn’t bad, since I know what is going on my body is doing it’s job and that’s all that matters to me.I do wish they would offer it in a larger container because I go through it in 2 weeks. I need to order in advance because most times it takes a while to get to me, but it is so worth it.I love that it has the greens, berries, mushrooms, probiotics , healthy grasses I was looking for all in one scoop. It is great for digestion and does not make me feel bloated, which is ideal for a green & protein powder. I highly recommended this product, you will not be disappointed.

I use one scoop instead of two. Two scoops for me was a lot- pretty bitter even when mixed with fruit, etc. I realize that 1 scoop only gives half the protein and nutrients but it's still a good amount. My favorite mix- 1 cup OJ, 1 cup frozen fruit, 1 scoop powder, and water to thin as needed. I'm sure there are tons of recipes out there that you can mix with 2 scoops but I personally would not do it without the additional fruit and juice combination to cut it. The plus side is that this is very healthy so even with 1 scoop, there is still a good amount of nutrients.

I did a lot of extensive research and just haven't found anything nutritionally that compares. I am not a health nut or a nutritional aficionado - I just wanted something I could use to make protein shales that was simple, fast, and healthier than the pre-made shakes from Slim-Fast or Ensure. This was the ticket! It's list of ingredients is pretty amazing and more importantly it doesn't have anything artificial in it.As a female I was told by a doctor to avoid too much soy, as it can affect hormone levels. I also was told to avoid whey and milk based products for awhile, so I needed something that wasn't either. The pea protein was just the ticket! Also, I can't stand the taste of artificial sweeteners and this had none.Taste-wise it needs help (that's the lack of sugar and fake sweeteners). I mix it with a non-dairy/non-soy milk and a lot of different frozen fruits to help mask the taste - but it does take some time to get used to. My husband mixes it with the vanilla whey powder (1/2 and 1/2) to make it tastier. It's not bad - it's just not good and I mixed it with plain water once - only once.I've used this as a meal replacement for sometime and really like it. My husband (who almost never eats healthy) started using it for breakfast and lunch and he said he noticed a huge difference in his energy level...I pointed out that vitamins and nutrients will do that to you...it's not a magic shake, it's just full of good stuff!Over all the price is good for the quality of what your getting. I can go to Wa-Mart and get whey power for $10, but it's full of artificial ingredients and sugar and has none of the benefits or nutrients this does. It's excellent for those who really care about what they are getting and what they put in their body!Protein Shake1 cup Milk of choice (Almond, Rice, Coconut, Soy, Cow, Goat...)1/2 frozen Banana (easiest to break bananas in half before freezing)Handful of frozen Fruit of choice (pineapple and mango are very flavorful, strawberries and blueberries are excellent)1 serving of Protein and Greens OR 1/2 serving plus 1/2 serving of Protein Powder of choice2 spoonfuls of Olvaltine1 tbs Almond/peanut/sunflower butter2 tsp of olive oilOptional:1/4-1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt1 spoonful of honey/agave or 1-2 packet(s) stevia

I received this product today in the mail. I can't tell you any health benefits and if it makes you feel any different. I bought this product because I wanted to try something new. I knew it had a lot of stuff in it by just looking at the back of it. When I first received it the first thing I read was grass juice. If you have tried any other green powder stuff you know it taste like dirt and grass and is disgusting. There is no masking the flavor of dirt and grass. I was starting to question my decision in buying this.Anyways, I mixed 2 scoops with Apple juice. It mixed really easily by spoon. I was too lazy to get my blender out. Surprisingly, it didn't taste bad at all. It did have a slight protein and green taste but overall the apple juice masked the flavor of it all.Overall, first impression I like it and would recommend this. This is the only green powder stuff that I have tried that actually isn’t that bad tasting. If you mix this in a smoothie you probably wouldn't taste it.

I didn’t know pea protein could make me sick and bc it’s loaded with lectins per Dr. Gundry.🤢
