This scale is really easy to assemble and the accuracy and repeatability is outstanding. I can take a reading on a tile floor, move it to a rug floor and it is the exact same reading. placement on the platform is much more forgiving than any other scale I have used. If you must have accuracy this is the scale. If network connectivity is important go with the next higher priced model as it is built in.

Unfortunately, because I had to ship the scale to Venezuela and the delivery time was extended, I did not realize the error in time to file a claim. When I finally did, it was too late, and they could not exchange the product. This was disappointing, as I was expecting to receive exactly the model ordered with all its specifications. Missed Opportunity with EMR Validated and LAN/Wi-Fi Module: I would have really loved to have the EMR validated model with LAN/Wi-Fi module, as it would have been incredibly useful for keeping a digitized and accurate record of all the patients seen. This additional feature would have greatly facilitated the process of storing and accessing medical data, especially in environments where a large volume of patients is handled. Conclusion: Despite the issue with the model received, I still consider Seca scales to be an excellent choice for demanding medical environments. Their accuracy, ease of use, and portability make them ideal for medical missions and mobile clinics, where a reliable and durable tool is required. Overall, I recommend these scales for their quality and reliability, but I suggest carefully verifying the model received to avoid issues like the one I experienced.
