Not for a UV5R
AI led me down a rabbit hole and convinced me that this cable and a USB soundcard would allow me to connect to my baofeng uv5r and raspberry pi to see digital radio communications. Nope AI made it up. Despite that, I'm sure this cable is fine.

Great deal for a trigger cable
Perfect fit and operation, great price. Not much else needed about a trigger cable. The ends are solid, the jacketing is thick, it works flawlessly.

Quality & Simplicity
This item was purchased in early (2025) to be used as a trigger switch to power on & off an SVS SB4000 Subwoofer. The concept is good, the build & construction is very good however it did not work for my application.
