Nice little UV lights. Small, very portable, and I used them to cure resin for tooth repair. Worked fine, they do not seem very bright, but they worked great for the resin curing. I kept the light on the resin for several minutes just to be sure but it worked out well. The resin was supposed to cure within 20 seconds, but not having much experience with curing resin, I went much longer, If you are expecting a bright light, it may disappoint, but it is very effective for what I needed it for. Good price for a pack of two, and they each take 1 - AAA battery, of course alkaline is best, lasts longer. Overall, i am very pleased for what I purchased these lights for.

Light is a little weak but overall gets the job done.

These work great for finding “ Yooperlites” when you are rock hunting.

I have been using these for four months at night to play disc golf with glow in the dark discs. They have held up to the frequent use (and abuse), and they appear to be waterproof as well. I’ve also let my toddlers play with them for glow in the dark toys, and they have survived the throwing and hitting well. It’s also a better UV wavelength than many of the cheap options available, and one AAA battery lasts a long time.

Overall I have been very happy with Gearlight products. They all seem to be made very well and I have not had any functional issues from any of their products. The only complaint I have about the GearLight Black Light UV Flashlight S50 is that they are much smaller than what I was anticipating and are not powerful enough to be seen unless it is very dark in the room. We purchased for use during cleaning inspections and unless we go over the area with the light extremely close to the ground and inch by inch, they are not very useful for this use. I think I was expecting the S100 and bought the S50. I wish they offered them in the size of S100 in a rechargeable.

Loaded up with a Duracell and started looking around. Amazing what you will find! Dust specks show up blue. Dirty dishes, bathrooms, walls - that's just for cleaning. If it's dirty you are going to know it (I'm a part time janitor to keep busy). I use the second one just for kicks. The most fun I have with it is checking out my gemstone and mineral specimen collection for fluorescence. Yooperlite, ruby, dragon garnet etc. Handy for checking and verifying specimens in this regard. The most wild things I had around the house was a couple of Lutetium Aluminum Garnets and a tiny Lego stud that turned out to have a WILD glow :D Worth the money for the fun alone. Usefulness on the job is a plus. The compact size is a HUGE plus. Great lights. Lots of fun :)
