Amazing webcam - Great Value
Excellent picture quality, Manual focus, so it doesn't do the autofocus dance every time you move slightly. Great value for the price.

easy to use, and great if you need a wide camera angle
i am a martial arts instructor, and during these pandemic times, i have been teaching martial classes online. i had never taught online before, and wasn't sure how it would go, but this camera has made it easy. it is very simple to use, even for a person who is not particularly adept with technology. basically, you just plug it in to the USB port -- no need to download a particular driver or anything. it stays nicely mounted at the top of my monitor, and it can be adjusted a lot, as far as how far down it points (particular useful if you need people watching to be able to see your whole body, including the feet). the image is nice and clear. i have only used the auto focus, not tried the manual focus yet, but it has been perfectly fine. and man, the panoramic view thing is useful! most of my students use a more normal webcam, and they are constantly stepping out of the scree in just a step or two. i can move around a lot and still stay in view with this webcam. if one just does video conferencing of some such, one may not need this style of camera. but if you are doing any kind of teaching or practicing something that involves movement (yoga, dance, whatever), this is a really great piece of equipment.

Doesn't have auto focus- it's manual- some might like- I do not
First Off let me say when they say wide view they mean it -- it is very wide-- too wide for my liking -but I imagine that is a pro for most so if that's what you want then this is your camera! Second- there is no zoom-- can be frustrating when you didn't realize just how wide it would be and aren't camera savvy Third- no autofocus- it's manual-- which has its pros - it makes for a very CRISP view- quite beautiful-- when you get it right Very easy to use though- just plug it in and go- did have issues using it on my chrome book - even when plugged in it would only work if I was using zoom or live YouTube-- so if you have a chrome book and plan on using it to record videos and Want to use it instead of reg camera-- I have found it impossible-- but on my windows computer it was no issue -- i could hook up both webcam and blue yeti and switch over right from their camera app Overall pretty great webcam but depends on needs - If your doing zoom meetings for work and want people to see your whole room then it's great- if your like me and live in a small house and kids and don't necessarily want everyone to see your toy filled house i would would get one with a smaller lense - The other disappointment for me was that I can't zoom-- but others may not care-- Over all I think it was a great value and camera delivers a beautiful picture- manual focus is very easy to adjust, you just twist it until you get where you want - this was a plus- you can get an amazing clear crisp pic Camera has a great quality feel to it and had threading to be attached to a mic stand - as well as computer! Over all I think its a great camera, i just wish I had known how wide that wide view was, but that was my own fault- and again other people might love that!

Unexpectedly best camera in the zoom room
Like everyone else, quarantine left me searching for a decent camera just to join my family for weekend updates, have virtual happy hour with friends, nothing special. I'm a nurse so I don't get to do the office thing, sometimes I'm almost jealous. I'd order a camera, wait 3 weeks, and the day before it was set to arrive, the order would cancel itself. That had happened twice, and I actually had purchased 4 others that were sitting in my cart unshipped, waiting to be in stock, by the time I received this one. Took it out of the box, plugged it in. I have zero computer abilities, and it worked. Has microphone and speaker, wide angle and clearer picture than everyone else with their very expensive, top of the line cameras. Now I lean it against the stack of books my monitor is on, cause I dont know how to affix things that are electronic, but again, it works. I still don't know what brand this thing is. But gosh darn it, it came fast, was priced as it should have been, 60 bucks is not bad for a webcam like this and for such high quality. I get compliments on the quality of every call I'm a part of.

Good HD 120 FOV webcam (if you don't mind orange)
I got this for a very specific purpose where a c930c (with a 90 degree field of view) did not do the job - trying to stream a robotics competition where the 12' by 12' playing field has to be seen in entirety. My garage space is very limited so I needed a wide angle webcam to see the entire field. I got scared by the negative reviews (disregarded the ones complaining about bad focus as I knew this has a manual focus ring) when I read that this cam mirrors the image so if you point it at a poster on the wall the writing would be reversed. This is an issue for me because I use a custom web-base app that has no settings, this webcam comes with no drivers (relies on OS) and the OS (Win 10 in my case) says there are at least 3 ways to access settings on a webcam but in reality, without a special piece of software, there are absolutely none (no, I don't want to take pictures with the Microsoft Camera App, thank you sigh...) I was relieved to see that the camera I received does not mirror the image (maybe I got a different firmware?) Other complaints revolve around fraudulent resolution claims. I tested it with webcamtests.com and it is a true 2.07Mp sensor so res is FHD 1920x1080. Again, maybe some got clones / copies with cheaper CMOS sensors (nothing unusual here) but mine looks HD (even compared visually with my Logi c930c). Fps tests were also positive, clean sustained 30fps. In a real live scenario, it was able to handle constant streaming at about 20fps which is very decent in my experience. The only negative as I see so far is the horrible white balance mechanism, everything is indeed yellow/orange. My room has light blue walls, the cam shows a weird green/brown color. However it does a decent enough job in poor lighting. I'm overall satisfied as it fit my niche needs and solved my problem.

Would Be A Great Product If ...
Giving it 3 stars - build-quality: Upon inspection of received webcam, I noticed a small nick on the cable, but didn't think anything of it. When plugged in, the viewing angle of the webcam was perfect, exactly as I needed for exam purposes, but there were flickering lines across the screen. On a positive note, the build-quality of the webcam was good. I would have been extremely pleased with the product if it worked properly because it felt sturdy. .. Nevertheless, though I had high hopes for the webcam, it seemed damaged, and I had to return it.

Best webcam we tested
Our office actually did a good test of five different webcams before settling on this to use for all of our employees. We took 5 webcams including two different LogiTech cams and tested the picture quality and also the audio quality. For the audio, we played a YouTube of "background talking noise" while saying the same phrases for each camera. This webcam was rated second of of the five in eliminating background noise while not making your voice sound robotic/electronic. For the video quality this was the best one for lighting (for a lot of the webcams, this was the best by far). That said, the build in Macbook Pro webcam still was neck-and-neck with it, but I'm not rating the build in camera - just web cams. We deliberately placed a person on the camera with the majority of the light coming from behind the person. Usually this is tough on cameras for them to do a good job but this camera did great. The person didn't look dark or look halo-ed. The camera does not have auto focus. But that really isn't a problem for someone who sits at the same desk every day. The only time it would have to pay more attention to that is if you're moving around from one location to another quite a bit.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!!
This webcam is fundamentally flawed in that there is no zoom feature. Even the most basic webcams made in the last 20 years come with the ability to zoom in and out but for some reason this camera doesnt. You have to go to the website and download the software and the feature to zoom and adjust are grayed out. I contacted support and they told me i needed to get an activation code so I provided my product info and they gave me an activation code (which did ABSOLUTELY nothing by the way). After i used the code I was hoping all the features would be available but they were not. About half of the features (including zoom) are grayed out. It makes no sense to even have them as options when you cant even adjust them. If i use the camera as is, its super wide angle and you can see everything and nothing all at once. Meaning you really do see a lot with the wide angle but everything is so small and far away you might was well be invisible. I am returning this product and will not be buying from this company again.
