This DARKBEAM tactical red light flashlight works very well. The light is bright, clear, and perfect for night use without hurting your eyes. It feels strong and durable, and the rechargeable feature is very convenient. Great flashlight for tactical use, camping, or outdoor activities.

This was a bit expensive imho compared to their other lights but I needed it quickly and cheaper lights would not arrive on time for me. I was very happy with the brightness and adjustment and was very happy to find the battery is replaceable and interchangeable. This made sure with the purchase of a few extra batteries w/charger that I was going into the woods with a full battery without leaving the light itself on charge. Pretty happy with my purchase so far

Charged batter lasts! We use these at night to walk a mile for Ice cream. The kids love shining these. I need more colors!

The light definitely did it’s job, it’s super bright and works really far. I used it while I was out in the field, but after little use the battery died super fast.

Really nice budget hunting light. Beam is a nice saturated red and not orange or "pinkish" like you get with filters. This is a true red diode. Comes with a nice little carrying case and an 18560 battery. The best feature of this light is that it has an adjustable/zoomable lens that allows you to concentrate the light into a compact tight spot, or back it off to use it as a wide field flood light. A lot of hunting lights don't have this feature for some reason, especially the more expensive ones. Another nice thing about this kit is that it's compatible with some of the Feyachi pressure switches and mounts. So if you have one of their white lights and want red or green you grab this light and use it with their accessories. Overall I am quite happy with this. It's not the brightest light, but for the price it's hard to beat the quality and features.

Pro's; Compact, holds a charge, BRIGHT & rugged. The zoom feature is awesome. Has a metal framed body. Con's: Only 2.. 1: I don't agree with the battery recharging technique. You have to take the battery out of the flashlight and mount it on a charger instead of plugging the entire flashlight into a USB. AND 2: The red light is for light discipline and to not give away your position etc. But this LED red light is freaking BRIGHT. I'd bet that NVG's could pick this up almost as easily as a standard white light. A lot brighter than the issued 45* degree angled red lens filter basic training flashlight..

If you are looking for a red flashlight to keep your night vision for star gazing, astronomy, or other nighttime activities, this is the real deal. I've been disappointed by so many other red lights that are either too dim or drain the batteries too fast. This one is a very good compromise with a bright light and lasts over an hour.

Bought this for my night time walks in the countryside where I live, and it's great. It has a good rechargeable lithium battery, and it comes with a USB charger too. Out in the dark, it has an adjustable, bright red beam which doesn't startle wildlife, unlike a conventional white beam, and the battery lasts a long time. If you're looking for a decent, wildlife torch, I would recommend this one.
