I have been using these filters for about a year in our house and needed to replace it and had to go to hardware store and bought a replacement but could tell a huge difference with dust. I have purchased these 4 times now and will continue to buy them. They are expensive but worth it.

Understandably this is the best HVAC Filter on the market. However, last year I paid $41 for this same 4-Pack on Amazon.This year the SAME 4-PACK 1900 3M is $90! WHOA! That is a major inflation RIPOFF Amazon!So, I just purchased the "even better rated" 3M 2200 4-Pack at COSTCO for $49. Better get your prices inline or NO MORE FILTER SALES.

This is a great filter and i am using it for the last 2 years. clears odors to certain extent as well. It is on the expensive side , other than that, a rock solid filter.

In an old house trailer we have dust and dirt coming up through the floor boards. These filters have been my main source of protection, and they have kept me from having any asthma attacks.

I bought these 14x14x1 in March 2022, and they do not accurately fit the spaces where they go, being slightly too large. They have to be smooshed and/or bent to get them into the same spaces where other quality air filters have easily and correctly fit with no issue for over 10 years. Perhaps this was a manufacturing error at that time, dunno.Since the cardboard frame around the filter material is stiff, smashing in the ends is less effective than bending them slightly in half, putting both ends in, and then pushing on the center to smoosh it flat.I suggest if you buy them that you try them soon after purchase to make sure they fit your space correctly, especially during any applicable return window, of smooshing and bending might affect your decision to use them.Attached is a pic of the label that came on mine.Knocked one star off for this issue, which is more troublesome for me because I have to get on a ladder and reach above my head to try to smoosh these into the spaces, including into a space right next to my stairs down, which scares me when I do them alone.

I use these as a cheap emergency replacement for HEPA filters: when stacked in series two of these 1" filters reduce the 0.3 micron particles 50-fold (98% arrest, verified with a calibrated particle counter). The 12" size is relatively standard , and fits into standard housings. These Filtretes are odour-free, unlike costly HEPA filters from certain supplies (e.g. IQAir). Now, I wish they costed less (hence 4 stars).
