ProCase NRR 28dB Noise Reduction Ear Muffs, Foldable Adjustable Noise Cancelling Headphones

Good product and performed as I needed it too. I purchased this ProCase Noise Reduction Ear Muff for my wife to use at her first attendance of an NHRA national event and she said they were comfortable and the loud race car noise was tolerable.

Appearance: The color pink is accurate to the picture shown. Size: Fits my adult head well, has expanders to fit height to size. I don’t feel like my head is being crushed as others have said, though I don’t have a wide head. Appearance wise, they look bigger than the ear defenders I typically see people wearing but I don’t mind. Ease of Use: They are very easy to fit back into a ball to carry. It takes a bit of pulling to get them to fit on the head because you have to expand the metal out of the cuffs. I was a bit surprised by the force needed but once I did it a few times it became easier. Feel: I can have these on my head all day long. The cuffs fit completely over my ears so they are extremely comfortable in that way. It does put pressure inside my ears as if I was on an airplane. It’s not majorly bothersome but takes a bit of getting used to. Sound: When I first put these over my ears, I actually started tearing up because everything got so quiet. All of the background noise just completely stopped. I can still hear people talking. I can hear sirens. I can hear overhead announcements. But it blocks out a lot of the music sounds that hurt as well as the general small repetitive noises that would make me angry like chewing or walking or people tapping, etc. Durability: I cannot say anything on this quite yet as I’ve only had them a few days, but so far they have been durable. I have taken them on a trip and they held up well with me tossing them around and dropping them. The cushion on the part that sits on my head is still in tact. The metal feels sturdy. The cushions on the ear muffs do not have any imperfections. And the pink part is a very hard plastic. Sleep quality: I actually have fallen asleep with these on and I didn’t wake up in pain at all. I was very comfortable the whole time. They are a bit bulky to get used to and lay on but once you figure out a good position, it feels nice. Overall I would recommend. This is my first pair of ear defenders so I have nothing to compare it to, but I really like these. Update 4 months later: I’m glad this review has been helpful so I’m adding this addition. I absolutely love these and am glad I picked this pair. I am now used to wearing them the majority of the day. The pressure in the ears is gone, the toughness of pulling the defenders to my size is gone and is now a smooth process. They are durable, pads are still cushiony with regular, frequent use. No scratches or scuffs. The pad on the headband is still sturdy and cushiony. They feel like an extension to me now that I’ve gotten used to them. Definitely recommend this brand.

I purchased these earmuffs for use around loud equipment and other noisy environments, and they have worked very well. They noticeably reduce noise while still being comfortable enough to wear for extended periods. The padding is soft, the headband adjusts easily, and they feel sturdy without being overly heavy. They also fold up nicely for storage when not in use. For the price, the quality exceeded my expectations. They provide reliable hearing protection and have been a useful item to keep on hand.

They cut the noise out very well. Downside is they are small, tight and uncomfortable. Probably good for youth but would not recommend for an adult.

Bought these for outdoor lawn work and they do muffle the noise quite well. A little tight on my large head but still comfortable after hours of wearing. Great deal for the dollar's spent.

The box these hearing protectors comes in makes a lot of different claims - that they fit adults and children (probably not) and that they reduce noise by 33dB while the listing says 28dB. Hmmmm. As far as fit, can confirm they fit an adult head (mine), at the longest setting, which is great if you’re 5’7”, I suppose. Bigger heads might be a problem, and older kids heads, again probably. Noise reduction rating is confusing. Info with them rates reduction at different frequencies, so I guess both numbers might be right. In actual use, they seem to do an average job at reducing noise from my lawn tractor. About the same as my 30 year old Wilson ear muffs, which were falling apart from age. Didn’t like the sliding cushion on top - when you try to adjust the length it feels like it slides back and forth on top of your head and doesn’t stay centered.

Gave en a try for 4th of July! Worked Great! He could still hear us but muffled the big bangs! I
