Very nice keyboard
I was immediately impressed by the feel of this keyboard. The keys have a very nice texture on the surface, and they have a nice spring during return, which makes typing pleasurable. It does not feel plastic-y at all, and it is extremely quiet. The body of the keyboard is all aluminum, with a polished beveled edge around the top surface so it looks nice, too. It does have non-slip rubber feet nicely positioned on the bottom. Something I would like to have included is one or two USB ports. There are no connections or ports except for the USB cable, which is permanently attached. On my particular keyboard, the right-hand shift button did not work well. But I was able to pop off the key cap and attach the mechanism correctly. Now everything works very well.

Good replacement
It seems harder to find a "real" wired Mac keyboard recently, so I ended up trying this one out, and I've been quite pleased. I had my original Mac keyboard for about five years, for my work (programming) computer until several of the keys just weren't working anymore. This one seemed a good enough deal to give it a shot. It's not exactly the same, but close enough that after spending a month having to use my MacBook's built in keyboard it was a welcome relief and I readjusted very quickly. It gets very heavy daily use and is holding up just fine. I'm liking it enough that I got a second one for my personal macbook as well.

Right Shift Key does not work well
Using with an Apple Mac. I like the keyboard and find it comfortable to use. I had replaced a small bluetooth Apple keyboard that did not have a number pad and seemed to eat batteries. This only issue that I have is that the Right Shift Key needs to be held in place for several seconds, otherwise it does not register. Kind of a pain, but I normally don't use this workstation frequently so I just have been working around it.

Really disappointed in this keyboard
The keyboard looks beautiful and has a nice feel to it but the "a" key and the "7" key routinely don't register and you have to press it extremely hard or multiple times to get it to work. I had such great hopes for this but I no longer have the box and can't return it. I'm going to have to get something else and this was a waste of time and money. Sorry Macally - but you can do better than this. I bought this with the mouse - the mouse works wonderfully. just the keyboard falls short - perhaps I just got a bad one.

Does the job
It costs 80% less than the Apple one, does the same, feels great, and has the same functionality. The design also looks good (black one). I would buy 3 of the same before the "original" one (and will still have money to buy a mouse).

Great keyboadr
My old keyboard kicked the bucket about 3 weeks ago, so I needed something inexpensive but reliable and with quick delivery. This was a great choice. I am very happy with it, been using it for several weeks now and have no complaints. If anyone has concerns about using it with an apple product, I am currently using it with a mac mini. I definitely recommend and would purchase again.

It's very similar to the Apple keyboard
So my Apple keyboard died after 10 years and it was time for me to buy a new one. I love the full wired keyboard, I have an Apple wireless one but I don't type as well on it because its so small, so I prefer the full sized keyboard. The original Apple keyboard costs $190! So, I thought I would give this one a try first. In my experience though, Apple always works better and with that being said... this keyboard works great until my computer went to sleep, then it didn't work. I have to unplug it and re-plug it in every time I 'wake' it from a couple hours of non use. Sooooo, I bit the bullet and bought the Apple keyboard for $190 and I hope it lasts another ten years. I am keeping this one as a backup in case anything happens to my Apple jewel that I now have to handle with kid gloves. So be aware that this may not work perfectly but it's good for the price if you don't mind the unplugging and plugging in over and over. UPDATE: I ended up buying the Apple keyboard because this one just didn't cut it.

Updated: Nice looking & feeling keyboard (was: "but gives repeated letters (mmmouse for example")
UPDATE: I have to give outstanding customer service props to the seller. I contacted the seller to report my repeating key issue and a replacement arrived 3 days later. Wow, call me impressed! ORIGINAL: I don't care it's not "Apple" brand, I just wanted a working USB Apple layout keyboard. It looks & feels nice but there are 2 problems: 1. some keys are crazy sensitive, m in particular (see below), 2. ergonomics are terrible because it doesn't have a height adjustment and lies almost completely flat. It makes my wrists sore. Real results typing words starting with m: mouse massive mouse massive more more more make mmany maybe mmake more move money mmanipulate
