Review: My 2nd favorite Rocky movie! - Being made in the 1980s, Rocky IV has a very anti-Soviet feel to it. I still consider this the 2nd best Rocky movie behind the first one. The plot is good. The characters are well developed. Ivan Drago is a cool opponent. The only thing I really dislike about Rocky IV is when Ivan kills Apollo Creed. A very sad moment and sad for a cool character. Rocky IV is one of 3 movies that came out in 1985 that has an anti-Soviet/Russian tone to it. Another one is: Rambo: First Blood Part II, because of them being the villains. The other one is the American version of Godzilla 1984, re-edited and released in America in 1985. There are scenes purposely put in and re-edited, and re subtitled to make the Soviets look bad, including a shot made of the Soviet commander launching a nuke at Tokyo. Another anti-Soviet movie is Rambo III, released in 1988. The soundtrack is great and the songs in the movie are great. The training montages are well made and the fights are once again well choreographed. Nothing against this movie aside from Apollo Creed's death. Great movie, and Rocky's speech at the end is very well written.

My 2nd favorite Rocky movie!

Great boxing movie!
The blu ray quality was not that great! Saw much artifacts, was expecting a perfect blu-ray picture!

Rocky IV blue ray
This is a good Rocky movie came out in 1985 and definitely blue ray recommended! Had this on VHS then dvd and this time on HD blue ray and it sure is an upgrade on picture and sound quality. The 2 disc combo comes with a dvd and perhaps you can use the dvd on your portable players to go or to lend to a friend to see it and blue ray for your HD premium feature movie Viewing aspect fits directly on your home flat screen without the annoying black bars on the bottom and top screen unlike in most movie releases which I find annoying.

enfin le nouveau montage pour Rocky IV, apres avoir vue un nombre incalculable la version de base, cette nouvelle version ma fait bizarre mais Stallone la voulais depuis un moment . je doit la revoir pour me faire un avis définitif, laquelle est la mieux....

The film on blu-ray is great, though i wish extras would've been included. Lundgren is a monster here and though the fight scenes are great, it is the most unbelievable fights of the series- really.. Rocky beating Drago?

シリーズは全て観たけど、私は4がダントツだと思います。2のエイドリアンの勝って！も良いけど、4の昔からのトレーニングvs最新科学トレーニングの交互シーンは、いつ観ても力が漲ってくる。超オススメ！

Excellent film
Excellent film livraison rapide le disque était magnifique mais dommage que le caisse du blu-ray est été toute brisé dans le transport heureusement le papier du film était en parfaite état je les juste installer dans un caisse vide le papier et le disque et maintenant il est en parfaite état 👍🏻
