Love this pencil!
Use it during my construction projects and it doesn't leave my side. Super easy to use and always sharp. Reaches into harder to reach holes too. I got some extra leads for it and found some are very soft and break easily though (especially the colored yellow and red).

Clearly marks all materials
I like it so far. Used it to mark a variety of materials. No problem there. When I put the pencil back into its sheath, I tend to push down on the top of it. This has the unwanted effect of advancing the lead. Perhaps the manufacturer can add a locking feature to the top cap to prevent this

Best and last pencil you will buy.
As a finish carpenter/remodeler for the last 11 years, this is the best pencil I have ever used. Just be careful which refills you buy. The water soluable ones wear faster and don't do well if exposed to excessive humidity.

You’ll no longer want to use traditional carpenter pencil
Ok, so this is pretty expensive for a pencil. But when you’re using one for tasks the majority of your day, you’ll appreciate the quality and ease of use of one of these. Definitely for someone who appreciates the higher quality and not lower priced tools. Sure, you can use a normal carpenter pencil and get the job done, but will it look and feel this good? Nope…
