Ourlife Kids Camera-Blue

I got two of these cameras for my 5 and 3 y.o. grandsons who love making photos. The older one, in particular, is fascinated with my DSLR as well as iphone photography so I was looking for a camera to suit his early interest in photography and to be simple enough for his younger brother to use at a 3 y.o. level. This little camera packs a big punch with all the features to keep the squirts happily clicking. It's quick for the adults to learn and teach tiny fingers so the kids are off and running independently. One camera arrived charged with SD card formatted; the other required I do that. Instruction guide is clear and easy to follow. Selfie mode is popular and waterproof cases work nicely for taking the camera out in the snow, not only actual underwater. I am not in the household where the kids live so I can't speak to any problems that have surfaced except for one: the pre-charged camera appeared to not re-charge (USB to computer) - i.e. the red charging light did not blink, but when checked, it actually had charged. We will keep an eye on that. All reviews raved about customer service so I am not worried. The cameras arrived quickly with all their accessories. The 5 y.o. wanted to try out the mini-tripod which seems a bit wonky and may have a broken leg. The only minor negative with the camera is that it does have four pre-installed games. (not what I was looking for) How can a 5 y.o. recognize a games icon as we moved through the menu?!?! Well, he did, but I truly believe he is more fascinated with taking photos than playing games, much to my delight. He has already begun setting up his toys to make still life photos! The camera also has video capability as well as a variety of frames and color modes which will be explored in due time. While these have an internal battery which, once it weakens and can no longer hold a charge, will not last forever. Once gone, the camera will be kaput. At $39.99, it's still a wonderful investment in kids' independent creativity! Full disclosure, I purchased camera cases at $20 each which I would not recommend to others. What worked better was giving each kid a fabric zippered case (mine were from long ago international flights) to store all the accessories. The squirts still love the hard cases to open/close, zip/unzip for special stuff, just not the cameras. No question, I recommend these as gifts for 3 y.o. and up.

Our girls have absolutely loved taking pictures with the OurLife kids camera. Good quality photos, they LOVE the waterproof case that they can take in the bath & swimming. Its really durable and has survived SO MANY drops without as much as a scratch. The pictures they take are so adorable. It's VERY easy to use. The girls didn't even need instruction to figure out what buttons to press (ages 4 & 6). And it's priced so well that we want to get another so each daughter has one to take their own photos with! We're looking forward to taking this camping with us to see what kind of photos the girls want to take of nature. We definitely recommend this as a great option for a family-friendly camera for the kids!

We genuinely love this kids camera. We had previously purchased a different, cheaper pink one for our child’s birthday. The battery wouldn’t charge at all on that one, and it felt so fragile. That in mind, we purchased this with great trepidation. We were so pleasantly surprised. The directions were clear, it comes with so many extras, two different cases, a little tripod, and some other cool stuff. The camera took a little figuring out to get the hang of it but the picture quality was way better than I expected! The camera also has the ability to take selfies and let me tell you, that’s a child’s greatest joy. It is also such a relief to not have to delete 5000 pictures of my kids forehead off my phone every day (thank you burst feature). My kid has been enjoying it a lot, and honestly so have the adults! The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is because some of the extras broke already, like the lanyard to wear the camera on! Otherwise, this product would get 5+ stars from me.

This camera is a great camera for kids, the quality is surprisingly great! The accessories which it comes with are a PLUS! The tripod is so cute, screws right into the bottom of the camera & the three posable legs make it great for kids to easily stand up to use! The rotating camera lense for regular and selfie is also a bonus! How cool is that! The waterproof camera case is PERFECT! I tested it out by submerging it without the camera under water & no water got in! It’s perfect! My son took 100 photos within an hour he was so excited! It even has filters and different lenses! The self timer is also a plus! One button is for video and one button for camera and so easy to explain and show your children! My four year loves it! I had to sneak it away after he fell asleep last night because he wouldn’t let it go 🤗 definitely recommend for a first camera for kids especially with all the accessories it comes with! Neck strap, camera wrist strap & a durable case alongside the waterproof case!? you cannot beat it & an 8g SD card! Come on! If your thinking about it, do it. You won’t regret it, and neither will your kids.

We got this camera for our 4 year old's birthday, he was thrilled! It is a really neat camera, and is quite user friendly for kids. The silicone case is great for protection, and the 'selfie' camera is a really great feature for a kid. Our son has had a ton of fun taking pictures of (literally) everything. The major issue that we have had with the camera is the reliability - more often than not, when we turn the camera on and try to take a picture or look at the photos already on the device, it says that there is 'No Card.' We have to turn it off and back on or do the 'reset' on the side multiple times to get it to start reading/recognizing the card again. While it is a cool introductory camera, the reliability issues make it more frustrating than fun at times. A major issue that should be resolved.

We took it to Seaworld aquatica waterpark and used it for two days straight I did charge it at the end of the night but it seem to keep a good charge throughout the day the second day my six-year-old had it around his neck most of the day and was recording not knowing so that did kill the battery a lot quicker but it still seem to hold that battery charge for almost the whole day even though it was showing only one bar it’s very easy to use super cute it has an option on there if you push the side arrows while in picture mode it has different little graphic frames and silly sunglasses or wigs that can fit around your face if you take a picture it’s also has lights that turn on if you press the OK button while in picture mode you can turn the lights on or off to take pictures in the dark or video it comes with a little memory card eight gigs I believe and I have taken tons of pictures underwater in the sun and in dark rooms they came out great and the memory card still not full so for now it’s still working great it comes with the small USB drive that you take the card out of the side of the camera and slide it into the USB drive and I’m assuming you put that in your computer to download the pictures I haven’t done that yet or tried that yet I’ve only had it for a few days so I can update this post a couple months from now to see how it still doing my four-year-old and six-year-old love this camera Overall I think this camera is great it’s a lot cheaper than the VTEC one that my son was asking me for and to me it’s just like a GoPro it comes with all the little attachments that you can attach it to your bike handle or something else in a little stand so if you’re looking for a cheap GoPro this is a very good option and works great

My daughter has been wearing this camera around her neck since she got it! She loves being able to take pictures whenever she wants, and make long videos without me telling her to get off my phone! She has dropped it and it doesn't break! The BEST PART though is the underwater case! We went to a river today and had a blast taking pictures! I didn't have to worry about dropping my phone in the lake and we brought it with us walking and playing in the river! It floats so we don't have to worry about it sinking! When I went to Cancun last year, we paid $85 to have our photo taken at different parts of the trip since it was largely in water. If we had this, we could have taken pictures anywhere and saved our money! It comes with a memory card and a USB port to put the pictures (SO EASY) onto the computer! I LOVE THIS CAMERA and am SOOO HAPPY my daughter begged for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Con: The picture quality isn't as great as my iphone 10 but it is still pretty great!
