My husband told me he read about this and I’ll admit I was very skeptical. Oh my goodness it is fabulous!! Not only does it make slush in minutes, but it also keeps it cold and from melting. It’s fun to use and I’ll be recommending it to everyone!

It works just like they say it does. It’s really nice if I wanna have a lemonade slush.

If your kid 🧒 a going to have adenoidectomy or tonsillectomy- you must have one of these!!! It turns any liquid(including pedialyte) into slushy! What a fun way to keep children hydrated!

Works like a charm, I have had them for years, but some of the cups leaks and stop freezing, but my kids use them daily and keep reordering.

The original size just isn’t big enough. This one is closer in size to what we had, growing up in the ‘80s. My kids like it. It saves us money.

UPDATED REVIEW BELOW.... I had some old slush cups and thought a newer set might work better. Nope. These BARELY create a slush. Even when you follow all the directions. They sort of ice up - but - not nearly enough. Disappointing. I'm glad I held onto the old ones! PS - remember - you cannot use any drink that isn't sugared. Sugar free drinks will not work. We were using sugared soda pop. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Nice quality product and packaging. Doesn't make very much. Takes a bit of work to get it right. You have to scrap at just the right times, otherwise it gets too hard. It can get a bit messy as well. I think young kids would struggle with this, but they would have fun doing it. Follow the instructions. By the third try it worked much better for us. The scraper works kind of hit & miss.

This cup makes great slushy drinks!! It’s very easy to clean and it looks good. At 10oz, it’s big enough to make a decent sized treat. The key is to have your drink extra cold, then pour into the cup and wait for the magic to happen. Scrape the sides a few times and stir the icy drink and you have the best slushie than ones from the convenience stores. And they don’t melt. Worth every dollar!

Excellent way to make slushies. I bought 2 so we have one each. They work beautifully. We had one for about 20 yrs till it finally cracked and we threw it out. So happy to find a great replacement

Makes perfect slushies

Posto in freezer per almeno 12 ore, permette di avere una granita finissima in pochi minuti (a seconda del calore esterno, da 5 a 7 secondo la mia esperienza). Nelle istruzioni si afferma che può effettuare fino a tre granite di fila, ma già la seconda ci metterà più tempo e ghiaccerà con meno facilità. Come funziona? Il prodotto è composto da 3 pezzi: il cucchiano di plastica (essenziale, non accessorio!), un bicchiere che va tenuto in freezer ed un copribicchiere colorato. Tolto il bicchiere dal freezer, si pone nel copribicchiere colorato, che ha la funzione di poter maneggiare il pezzo freddo senza fastidio (sembra banale ma non lo è: il vaso che esce dal freezer è ghiacciato, e per fare la granita occorre tenerlo in mano per qualche minuto). Si inserisce nel bicchiere il liquido desiderato e si attende che inizi a ghiacciare intorno alle pareti. Via via che ciò accade, si leva il ghiaccio dalle pareti con il cucchiaino. Pian piano tutto il liquido compreso ghiaccerà finemente. Credo sia fondamentale sottolineare alcuni aspetti: - la dose è per uno (circa 250ml di succi), a meno che si vogliano fare degli assaggi fra amici. Non è possibile averne uno e servire la granita, che so, a fine pasto in una cena...è per uso personale - non è possibile fare le granite con qualunque cosa: è necessario utilizzare un prodotto con dose di grasso o zucchero naturale come yogurt o succo. E' impossibile invece utilizzare tè, menta, amarena, orzata o qualunque elemento ad eccessiva quantità di acqua, perché essa ghiaccia troppo ed è impossibile staccarla dalle pareti. Di conseguenza la consistenza della granita è molto fine, diversa da quella classica da bar - non fa la granita da solo: in quei pochi minuti occorre essere presenti per togliere continuamente il succo ghiacciato dalle pareti I miei figli ed io ci divertiamo molto e ci rinfreschiamo, siamo contenti. Prendendolo su Werehouse deals lo abbiamo pagato circa 10 euro, prezzo eccezionale visto che ciò che era rotto era solo la scatola... Prodotto promosso a pieni voti!!

La heladera es un vaso que cuenta con 2 piezas, la interna lleva un líquido por dentro, esta pieza hay que meterla en el congelador, el líquido se congela y por esto al echar un líquido al pasar unos minutos se obtiene un smoothie o si la textura del líquido es más cremosa (leche, yogur, etc) se puede lograr también un helado "ràpido" y la externa que viene a ser la cubierta. Incluye también la espátula-cuchara muy práctica para remover el contenido y ayudar a que el helado tome la textura. En las instrucciones dice que hay que congelar la parte interna del vaso durante 8 horas pero el mío con 4 horas ya estaba listo, tal vez por la temperatura o potencia de mi refrigerador. Las calidades son buenas y aunque es un producto algo caro está bien para el verano, incluso lo he usado para beber en él un batido muy heladito. Lo recomiendo!

Read a few mixed reviews for this. I can only imagine that the unsuccessful slushes are a result of using sweetened drinks that have aspartame, saccharin etc. Trust me this works and as soon as everyone has cottoned on to how good they are, they will sell out! My son adores slush puppies but is only allowed to have them a couple of times a year as he is sensitive to the additives. This more than makes up for it. We have so far used every variation of Shloer which stays fizzy. Unlike slush puppies it stays frozen until the end. It seems to work quicker if you leave it for about 2 minutes before you scrape the first ice crystals from the side. After that - it transforms very quickly. I would love to say that it works well for other drinks, such as fresh juices etc but my son has adored the Shloer so much that he isn't fixing what isn't broke. It is so good that I will be buying several as gifts and more for the family as my son cannot wait the necessary time between drinks. I want one too! Looking forward to having a few alcoholic mixers although you need to add the alcohol after the mixer has slushed due to the much lower freezing temperature of alcohol, although I am considering trying a weak cider as soon as I am lucky enough to get my hands on it - or have several replacements lined up!
